  • Shell is a major player in LNG that will have a very important role in future. Shell is also into renewables. Oil prices fully recovered. 50-55$ at the end of year post pandemic is very likely.

    • What????? Why it's go down :((

      • Take a look at OMV too. It's a fully integrated oil, gas, and petrochemical company with investments into green hydrogen. It's completely undervalued due their recent acquisition of the petrochemical business. https://www.omv.com/en

        • why is this down when oil is up

          • Just hold and add on weakness that's all you have to do. Give this investment some time, will hit $50 minimum between now and one year.

          • Dirk Peter van Dellenit should increase dividend first to boost long term investor’s confidence otherwise have to see how shell play out in the green energy which I strongly doubt about it economically without tax incentives.

          • Bad Boy  Shell aimes to increase dividends by 4% each quarter, not much after the huge cut but it's a beginning. Further Royal Dutch has the intention to launch a stock buyback program. This also will benefit the current shareholders and don't forget RDS will not be green all the way. Oil is still an important asset.

        • can't hold oil down. when price per barrel droped all the big oil companies put off their cap ex, so they are not developing new sources. when demand creeps up, the price they charge will skyrocket along with their stock price which moves with price of oil. agree, $50 plus by end of year.

                • With oil prices as of right now, it will outperform in Feb and they increase dividends again.
                  2
                  • Borys Kh  They will outperform alright with these oil prices. From all the Oil Majors RDS is already profitable with an oilprice around $35 p/b. Lockdowns are not near as tight as they were earlier this year. Natural gas prices also significantly higher.

                  • Dirk Peter van Dellen so, you see now.

                • Yes totally agree. The world must use oil for a good while yet or 2/3s of population will suffer or die. The greens don't give a ***about that only their unrealistic ideology. Industry must continue and requires efficient energy. When oil is less efficient than alternatives it no longer has value. Simple. Buy Buy. Good price....now.

                  • Our infrastructure is still built on oil. This will get back to pre-covid levels withiut a doubt. We are still too reliant for this not to go up. Easy long term profit at this price.

                          • Adam Byl Everything can happen, dont invest all your money. But if you look at the moment, its very cheap. Shell has invested big money in green energy. People always think about oil, when you talk about Shell. But they forget that Shell invested years ago for electricity, hydrogen, LNG. Its easy for Shell to switch to electricity charge stations. Shell plans to be the biggest Electricity company in the world.
