Brexit is a bif f. up for RR, limiting all sales with the import tax and restricting defense contracts. Whenever it raises it always go back to 95-105 since 2020 december...Will it recover or sink?

In 1971 RR declared bankrupt forced to liquidate and was nationalized. Defence side of business revenues restricted due to export licence restrictions. Civil side hit by ongoing pandemic,India, Japan. RR autos sold to Germany and now a success story. Since Brexit UK becoming a shadow on global stage. Rivals moving in European Aerospace, China aerospace. Civilian energy project prefab min nuclear power plants interesting but won't help immediate cash burn issues. As a takeover target it would have great potential but Uk gov holds golden share and will block foreign ownership for strategic national interests. Unless pandemic goes away soon people less fearful of mas airtravel believe it will be either nationalized again or bought out by BAE Systems leaving shareholders with very little or zero if nationalized.

their last results were better than expected. why would they bankrupt now? why not just do some share dilution, if they need cash. the UK is not in the 70s anymore. i mean you had Thatcher before, now you know what to do. + a little bit of punk music and it should fix it.

Take a step back and breath... I simply pointed out that you are mistaken in your rants about 'dilution'... take it on board. As for rights issues... they certainly have disadvs... shows the business needs funds and obligates shareholders to cough up (if they wish to avoid dilution of their holding).

As you are aware, a Rights Issue does NOT dilute a shareholding - you either take up the rights (no dilution) or choose to sell your rights. The effect on the share price is not dilution - it is the effect of essentially a share split.

Rights issue was fully taken up so there are more than 3 times stocks in circulation compared with a year ago and business has shut down factories.

Simple maths and you can't even work out that more shares in issue equals dilute value. I think you better play another game.

Oh my... I see the confusion. You are actually refering to 'dilution' with regards a solitary share... and how that share is worth a smaller % of the company after a rights issue. Why would anyone think that way? The concept of dilution refers to a shareholding, not a soliatry share. By your reasoning, all Apple shareholders must be furious that their individual shares have been systematically 'diluted' and are now worth 1/24 of what they once did... kinda forgetting that they now own 24 times as many shares. Dilution relates to a share-holding not a share. Baisc stuff.

Stock falls from 10 GBP on jet engine issues, pandemic hits stock value collapse then CEO issues 10 for 3 rights issue at 34p per share.dilluting share value to pennies. Meanwhile city chums make 20 million GBP organising placement. Shareholders got shafted. No shareholders value. Defence business revenue restricted with export licence. Another great British champion down the tube while Useless Uk Government watch industry and country slide from formgreat empire to a nothing.

Defence assets shouldn't be too cheap unless you are not in a free market anymore. Compare the evolution of Dassault, Boeing and RR. RR is clearly undervalued (i am writing that by comparing the evolution of the charts).

Defence business is shady kickbacks. anti corruption laws make it difficult to compete Export licence also restricts sales to foreign markets. RR likely to get bought out by BAE Systems on the pennies.

Keep your eyes peeled on RR bond yields currently around 6% if it rises to 7% sign of trouble looming. Don't be left holding the back.
