I have owned O many times but I thought that the dividend was too low. Its up where I want it in Retirement now and I bought 1000 shares at $57.25. I believe the dividend is safe and I have some more growth on the way. I believe $70 before the end of 2024.

Oh for sure, I completely 100% agree. Once rates are cut (will happen sometime who knows when HaHa) it'll go up even more.

This is a set and long-term hold (15-30 years) and reinvest and watch compound interest with reinvesting dividends grow! Also, buy monthly if possible. A+++++.

Munich Bud And if it's like in 2008 with a crisis where people can no longer pay their rent, what's going to happen

I mix it in with other dividend stocks, now's a good time as this is going down right now, but it will go up when the realty market picks back up after interest rates have been paused...

This will go up when rates go down. Why risking 5% dividen when you can get 5% yield on bonds
