Posco Future M Co., Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the refractory, industrial furnaces, and lime business in South Korea and internationally. The company operates through Basic Materials Division and Energy Materials Division segments. It manufactures and sells various shaped refractories, such as magnesia carbon and magnesia chrome; unshaped refractories comprising castables, stamp materials, and tundish coating materials; magnesia clinker; and functional refractories. The company also provides refractory engineering and quality inspection services; and burned lime used for molten iron and steelmaking. In addition, it produces advanced chemicals, such as carbon materials and hydrogen peroxide; and precursors, cathode, and anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Further, the company engages in the manufacturing of quicklime and light dolomite; and investment business. The company was formerly known as Posco Chemical Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Posco Future M Co., Ltd. in March 2023. Posco Future M Co., Ltd. was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Pohang, South Korea. Posco Future M Co., Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of POSCO Holdings Co., Ltd.
