Li-Cycle Holdings Corp (LICY.N) said it will expand the capacity of a lithium-ion battery recycling facility it is building in Rochester, New York, due to the rising volume of scrap in the United States. The facility will now be built to process 35,000 tonnes annually of waste from the electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing process, 40% larger than initially expected.

Brutal couple of days. Did the business plan fall apart?
Its been tracking oil from what I can tell. Tried bidding some back today at $11.40, but just feeling sold out with the small caps.
Lithium carbonate prices in China rose to above 190,00 yuan per tonne, the highest on record due to growing demand and tight supply. Prices for the silvery-white metal, which is a key ingredient to power electric vehicles, skyrocketed over the past year, as automakers and battery manufacturers race to secure supplies amid a global push for less-polluting energy sources. According to a new research report from Bank of America's global research department, the global electric vehicle industry faces an imminent threat that its battery supply could run out as early as 2025.
Tesla is moving to a new battery with no Cobalt. Other companies will be slow to follow because of the fire hazard.
This is not late at all. Just jump in and keep 10,000 stocks and next year you will be a millionaire. US government grant for green energy. Patents based 95% material recovery. Largest recycle solutions in North America. Europe & Asian market directors recently appointed. Annual growth 870% and explosive growth ahead till 2030. This industry will live on even year 3000. Next year will be around $200~$500.🚀🚀🚀
200-500$? Eh, that would be glorious...20-100b market cap in a year? Probably you know something or just mistyping consitently...
The stability of LICY's business model is still doubtful as the number of clients are not growing to sustain the huge overhead. The sustainability will turn out in 2~3 years as great number of similar services are entering into the market. Sharing US market only will limit the fate of LICY
LICY will have only great news ahead. Investors who are buying the stocks are really lucky as there are huge number of ETFs are buying LICY. Technically, LICY should reach to $100. BLNK was $1.50 and reached $80 in 6 months. LICY has a potentiality entirely different level to other stocks.
Q3 result will take LICY back to $7~$8 range because LiCycle is NOT recycling any batteris yet as there is NO deamnd for recycling ev batteries, LICY is not making any money at the moment, they have NO revenue. They will probably start making some money in 2028
The Q3 results will take LICY to the moon...

$1 stock boosted by management. However, it's hard to take over the market share. The portion is very minimal and still suffering for the growth as the market competition got tougher due to AI companies over 15 ready to launch.
Seen $15 but Li-Cycle still a sand castle as no feasibility and no expected any recycling batteries yet. PER ton high and no profit till 2025. Should see @$2~ max $3.50

Carmakers try to head off supply crunch with battery recycler investments by S&P strategic marketing analysts. LICY will announce remarkably tremendous partnerships sooner than later.
By 2025, the world could see a 30,000-tonne shortage in lithium carbonate equivalent, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Primary nickel supply may face a deficit in 2021, falling short about 128,000 tonnes. The anticipated deficit for refined cobalt has decreased in recent months, but markets will remain tight through at least 2025.
Major players have begun investing in recycling upstarts: Koch Strategic Platforms will put $100 million into recycler Li-Cycle Holdings Corp., and Ford Motor Co. will partner with recycler Redwood Materials Inc. as part of its $11.4 billion electric vehicle expansion plans. Lithium miner Ganfeng Lithium Co. Ltd. already uses recycled materials in its own battery products. And a recent agreement between mining giant BHP Group, Japanese automaker Toyota Tsusho Corp. and Japanese battery-maker Prime Planet Energy & Solutions Inc. opens the door to expanded recycling infrastructure when metal supply deficits loom.
