PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. is a specialty financial services company. The Company offers a comprehensive mortgage platform and integrated business primarily focused on the production and servicing of United States residential mortgage loans and the management of investments related to the United States mortgage market. The Company operates through three segments: production, servicing and investment management. The production segment performs loan origination, acquisition and sale activities for its account, as well as for PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (PMT). The servicing segment performs loan servicing for both newly originated loans it is holding for sale and loans it serves for others, including for PMT. The investment management segment performs investment management activities, which include the activities associated with investment asset acquisitions and dispositions, such as sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and settlement.

The higher the defaults on loans, the greater the loss of the bank. There is currently no reason to buy the stock. In fact, a leveraged short position can be opened in the USA with interest rates that can be experienced in 2023 or after.

If it gets the same multiple as Rocket the target price is $153. Bottom line is there is plenty of upside potential.

True upside is always possible as long as they can give eps $3-$7 every quater. Refinancing wave will slow down and we will see regular eps mid 2021 and we will get normal or above normal eps untill 2023 as fed rate is expected to be ZER0 till then. 5-8 p/e. At 17eps will give $85-$136 price range

Phenomenal earnings, their earnings estimates will get raised from $10 to $16 in coming weeks. If they were valued at RKTs PE ratio they would be valued at $330ish. Tons of upside here, very under the radar.

Was hoping for a little more momentum after it crossed $40. Seems the market is going in the other direction. With overall stock market losing steam due to growing #COVID19 cases, maybe signs of the predicted 'crash' are imminent
