In contrast to all that, I prefer to spend time on companies like Orion Energy Systems (NASDAQ:OESX), which has not only revenues, but also profits. Now, I'm not saying that the stock is necessarily undervalued today; but I can't shake an appreciation for the profitability of the business itself. Loss-making companies are always racing against time to reach financial sustainability, but time is often a friend of the profitable company, especially if it is growing.Check out our latest analysis for Orion Energy SystemsOrion Energy Systems's Improving ProfitsIn a capitalist society capital chases profits, and that means share prices tend rise with earnings per share (EPS). So like the hint of a smile on a face that I love, growing EPS generally makes me look twice. You can imagine, then, that it almost knocked my socks off when I realized that Orion Energy Systems grew its EPS from US$0.21 to US$1.00, in one short year. When you see earnings grow that quickly, it often means good th

Fundies. That profit margin is really only 8pct withoutvtax rate. Generously giving it a 20pct growth rate from where it really should be .41. Not .99. Projected out 5yrs is .75c and potential multiple of say 10. 7.50 - dcf to 3.50 buy. Although solid book of 2.00 no intagibles and real .50 cents a share in cash. Thatsbmy 2 cents

Nate Cowen  No, next week. Just kidding. It already broke through the week of December 2nd. Hit a high of 3.45, today (December 6). Well, it's the last day of the week. I should have bought it when it broke above 3.05 resistance. I waited a few minutes and missed hundreds.

Nate Cowen  Anyway, Nate, if you're still around; it's bullish on the year, quarter, month, week, day. What else can I say except "It's bullish." 3.05 was resistance and as you can see, it took off like a rocket after moving through 3.05. I'm probably a one trick/stock pony; only right on one stock. ;-)
