could someone explain to me why the WLLAW warrant is quoted below the differential with chord energy. WLLAW has a strike price of $ 116.36 and chord energy is now quoting $ 152 circ, so wllaw should quote at least $ 36 instead of $ 25

Since the merger of WLL with OAS, the exercise of WLLAW warrants gives the right to purchase 0.5774 CHRD shares per warrant at a cost of $116.37 per CHRD share.

Both Oasis and Whiting Petroleums went bankrupt in 2020, as did many small oil and gas producers during the pandemic. They and others in the shale patch followed a business model of investing all of their profits and more into increasing production in the 2010's. So they had a lot of debt that simply couldn't be financed when oil prices crashed during covid. Both OAS and WLL came out of bankruptcy with new management that is focused on maintaining captial discipline and returning a high percentage of their profits to the shareholders. The name change to Chord Energy after Oasis and Whiting merged on July 1. OASPW has by far been my best investment over the past year. I have made several times the amount of money I had lost when OAS went bankrupt 2 years ago.

Stop promoting this stock. The management has a history of taking the company to bankruptcy with out being forced into (while telling everyone they have the cash to tide over low oil prices). In short wiping out share holders and then secretly selling it to their debter friends, all without a warning and paying themselves millions in the process. This management will repeat this process, since they got away with it last time.

This company is a fraud. It goes bankrupt wipes all the share holders without a vote. Then changes name of the company. Rinse and repeat.
