what target price should we with OAS warrants look to sell around?
i
could someone explain to me why the WLLAW warrant is quoted below the differential with chord energy. WLLAW has a strike price of $ 116.36 and chord energy is now quoting $ 152 circ, so wllaw should quote at least $ 36 instead of $ 25
Since the merger of WLL with OAS, the exercise of WLLAW warrants gives the right to purchase 0.5774 CHRD shares per warrant at a cost of $116.37 per CHRD share.
Both Oasis and Whiting Petroleums went bankrupt in 2020, as did many small oil and gas producers during the pandemic. They and others in the shale patch followed a business model of investing all of their profits and more into increasing production in the 2010's. So they had a lot of debt that simply couldn't be financed when oil prices crashed during covid. Both OAS and WLL came out of bankruptcy with new management that is focused on maintaining captial discipline and returning a high percentage of their profits to the shareholders. The name change to Chord Energy after Oasis and Whiting merged on July 1. OASPW has by far been my best investment over the past year. I have made several times the amount of money I had lost when OAS went bankrupt 2 years ago.
Stop promoting this stock. The management has a history of taking the company to bankruptcy with out being forced into (while telling everyone they have the cash to tide over low oil prices). In short wiping out share holders and then secretly selling it to their debter friends, all without a warning and paying themselves millions in the process. This management will repeat this process, since they got away with it last time.
this is a standard page out of a widely followed playbook. everyone wins including the lenders.
This company is a fraud. It goes bankrupt wipes all the share holders without a vote. Then changes name of the company. Rinse and repeat.
why?
you are "without a clue"
Hes not wrong. I got screwed by OAS right before it issued new stock. Had 10,000 shares and after the new issue they returned me 34 shares
divedend tastes good honey jam
Great company to have in your portfolio!!
Wonderful inflationary stock to own.
OAS is great to keep long term
US
I have my stocks on Revolut and cannot see them at all. Anyone else has the same issue?
Did you get divident like a month ago from OAS? Yeah...that's not divident, they sold your warrants because DriveWealth (which is used by Revolut) cannot hold warrants so they "had to" sell them :)
So Adrian you tell us that we dont have anything from Oasis only what we took as divident from revolut?
Something doesn't make sense. After Chapter 11 bankrupcy filing the company's stock should be affected because who else would buy their stock, right? But, see how much the stock skyrocketed, it is just not real, look like they are manupulating the price1 Is there anybody in the group know lawyers? We should have them investigated. Who should we report this kind of fishy activity to? Come on, if you loss money as I do, we need to do soomething. The CEO already left the company.
In my account, the old OAS shares is now listed as OASPW, each warrant is now worth $18.99, you go figure how much your old shares are worth now!!!! We are robbed in braod day light!
I have my stocks on Revolut and cannot see them at all. How many shers did you have before?
Ratio of conversion is 1:200. So every rise of 2$ above 90$ is makes your old stock equivalent value of 0.01$.. or if the stock goes to 110$ your old stock value equivalent is 0.10$
Anyone got news from Revolut? It seems they gave not released warrants yet...thanks
You know is they come back to revolut?
I have the same issue, and for some reason they paid me a dividend few weeks ago
Are we actually going to get the warrants back on Revolut? Does this mean that 1share = 1 warrant when it hits 90$?
This is what I found online: "Once Chapter 11 bankruptcy is filed, the federal court appoints one or more committees that are tasked with representing and working with creditors and shareholders of the corporation to develop a fair reorganization. The corporation, along with committee members, creates a reorganization plan that must be confirmed by the bankruptcy court and agreed upon by all creditors, bondholders, and stockholders"1) Has anybody received and approved the reorg plan the company proposed? It says the shareholders should have agreed the plan2) By issuing the warrant to old shareholders the company tried to show to the court the company made good effort to minimize the damage to the old shareholders. Is the Warrant at $94 realistic? Can or has the share ever reached to that level to make the warrant worth anything or it is just a sham to fool the court.3) After the court ruling, is it still possible to dig up their dark secret like some posts mentioned the company tried to conceal their real assets and played some number game?Until we can get powerful lawyers to help us on the issue we will be sitting here to desperately watch those thieves spend our hard earned money on their luxury yachts, mansions, vacations…I can share the cost if somebody can locate a good lawyer
It gets even murkeir. The current ownership of the stocks is moving from OAS Dept holder to OMP. Which is headed by the same ex Conman CEO of OAS. So what they did was they split the company assests created a side company called OMP, liquidated OAS cleaning up all OAS share holders and transfered the company to OMP. Quite a game they have been playing.
So it means that OMP always had the ability to fill the gap of low oil price for the months of OCT and November. But once they realized the OIL price was about to shoot up they quickly filed for bankruptcy and finished the preplanned scheme of wiping the share holders within 30 days before the OIL Price shoots back up. All the while through the year stating that they are price hedged through the whole year. This would be interesting to see how this Ex CEO escapes investigation of colusion to defraud.
with +10% today, soon our warrants from old OAS bankruptcy will be worth something as new OAS stock reaches $94
Aouiri, can you explain a bit the warrants thng. Are we getting 1share = 1warrant? Example, if I owned 200 shares previous to bankrupcy will I get 200 warrants?
Sorry for late reply... No No ! the conversion factor is roughly 198 old OAS stock translating into 1 warrant. Example i used to have 39,000 old OAS that translated into 197 warrants. Each warrant has a value of 0,01 $ ... But a warrant gives you the right to buy a new unit of stock at $94 the unit (By doing so you exercise the warrant meaning you translates it into new OAS stock). This option of exercing the warrant is valid till Nov 2024. Past that time, the warrants become worthless
@agsn Read again now my statement above from march 23rd !
A total ponzi company. Its hilarious their bluff game they are playing with the price of the stock. How does the price of the stock fluctuate from 20$ to 60$? when 100% of the stock on the market is held by the Con-Artists that schemed with the management to get? Were they selling their holdings for 20$ then slowly ramping up the selling to 60$? who are they trying to fool?
this company shouldn't go bankruptcy! I was an old OAS shareholder and I loose a lot of money and now look at how there doing, how come they can come up so fast with this price per share? I feel like they stole me by playing this game
can anyone help me understand? I was an old OAS shareholder before the financial restructuring, now I have 658 warrants at a PMC of $ 111. my bank says they have nothing to do with the old OAS and I probably have it all. Who can help me?
I am not sure i understand what it means that your "658 warrants are at a PMC of $ 111". Old OAS warrants are worth $0.01 each if you want to sell them. However each warrant allows you to buy new OAS at $94 each till Nov. 2024. Today's quote is at $52 so not worth exercising the warrant (yet). But the day the quote passes $94, the warrants allows you to generate some profit by exercising them
Thanks for the reply. Where can you see the value of the warrants?
i have it in my portfolio as any normal stock
This seems how the company operates: Because the petroleum market is cylindrical, when the market is up, their shares go up and up, CEO and the management takes that opportunity to put investors hard earned money into their own pockets, they get so rich and richer!   When the petroleum market goes down, the company then claims their assets shrink  and they need to file bankruptcy.  This way they can erase all their debts along with investors money,  since those money has gone into those CEO and top managements' own pockets.  Then those CEO and top managements retire and gone with your hard earned money.     The company is fundamentally so strong, the stock has gone up so much lately with the petroleum market rebounds, there was no need for them to file the bankrupt at all.    If there was a need, it would indicate the CEO and top management did a bad job managing the company, they should have been punished instead of rewarding them billions of $$$.
Today the stock reached $47...This is half way now from the $94 threshold that transforms our options from the old Oasis Petrolium stock into positive investment
Wrong. its half way to zero. This is a ponzi scheme of a company. their business model is to drive down the price of stock file for bankruptcy and then reissue to the unsuspecting investors.    How did you get the idea that reaching 94, will make your options worth anything? its worth Zero at 94. As you have to pay 94 $ to buy a stock. In short if you buy that stock today your value will br worth double.. not zero. But on the other hand, at 50$OAS has already reached its asset valuation. Any crossing above 94 will require oil to jump to 90$.  which is only temporary, once that oil prce comes back to settle at 60. The same thing will be repeated by OAS. drive the stock down to zero, by more loans and then bankruptcy.
I understand your position... but you misunderstood mine... All what i am saying is that if OAS stock goes beyond 94$, say 100$ (which I agree is not likely to happen ) it becomes then worth exercing the warrants old OAS stockholders possess at 94$ unit exercise price and then sell at market price. The (positive) gap say 100$-94$, is the net profit of the transaction
I have 600 of Oasis at revolut and I can't sell any1 help me Plz?
talk to the support team, they can help you
Same problem here
Me too. Any solution ?
Here is my question, maybe someone might now. I currently have 7 warrants. If the warrant hit the Target price of 94. Do I have to pay the$ 94 on top of what I already lost on the common stock? or they automatically worth $94 on my account so that I can sell them at that price or above? This is the part where I am lost.
The answer is YES. you have to pay 94$ to buy the stock. the only profit you get is the difference between the stock price and 94$.  So 200stocks was converted to 1 option. At 100$ stock value, your equivalent value of the old stock is (100$-94$=6$)/200=0.03$..    To even break even to the price where the stock was at when it was removed (0.15$) the current stock value needs to be (0.15*200)+94=124$. or in capital valuation terms 2.4Billion.. only problem with that is OAS has valued the net asset at 3$b.. and they have 1.5$b in debt.     Let me put it in simpler terms.. OAS management screwed its investors by setting the company for 2 billion while stating their asset is 3$b after doing accounting fraud of magically reducing asset worth by 3$b from 7$b.     Or .. you will never make the money back.. even if they do accounting fraud again to bump up the assets back to 6 billion (4.5 billion removing debt)..(the stock price needs to reach 190$) you will only recoup the price of around ***
can warrants be sold without buying the shares?
Can you do something to this company? You seem very knowledgeable, we will support you in anyway we can!
I hope this *****fails
This company should shut down. Ponzi scheme... Bernie Madoff would be proud.
