NovaGold Resources Inc. explores for and develops gold mineral properties in the United States. Its principal asset is the Donlin Gold project consisting of 493 mining claims covering an area of approximately 29,008 hectares located in the Kuskokwim region of southwestern Alaska. The company was formerly known as NovaCan Mining Resources (1985) Limited and changed its name to NovaGold Resources Inc. in March 1987. NovaGold Resources Inc. was incorporated in 1984 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.

Underperforming. They have to get the short seller report and lawsuits out of tge way. Poor communication on co part. But i think they have the goods. But a lot of trust involved in this one as its not really a mine. Just a lot of gold in ygr ground. I figured barrick did their due diligence and will manage their investment well. The novagokd people seem like jerks . But hopefulky Barrick is calling the shots

Possibly because it is focussed on exploration and development as opposed to being a gold producing mine - at least in regards to its biggest property. The risk is higher because of this, so too are the rewards (potentially).

Novagold is down alot compared to other gold mining stocks like Barrick Gold and others. Financials are good and business has still not been affected by covid. The business should benefit from higher gold prices and plunging oil prices. It’s a buy!
