Unlike trading stocks and commodities, the cryptocurrency market isn't traded on a regulated exchange. Rather, the bitcoin market and every other cryptocurrency market is open 24/7 across a growing number of exchanges

All major stock exchanges in the United States around the globe are open for trading during the week between normal business hours. The U.N markets operate from Monday to Friday. Trading begins at 9:30 a.m. with the ringing of the opening bell and ends at 4 p.m. once the closing bell goes off. Trading does not take place on weekends.
