Nautic industry is cyclical, many boat maker bankrupted in 2009 (and MCFT almost did). Additionally, EPS was beat in adjusted, SEC filling talk of NauticStar charge of the non-recurring of 23 mln that makes Net Income -10 mln. Quick ratio of 0.3 is absolutely too low then for facing headwind. Current price is a bargain with respect of current cash generation, nevertheless there is fear for future outlook.

I think that the "Goodwill and other intangible asset impairment" of -31mln because of NauticStar does not affect much this growth stock. Sales and profit growth are great and last report confirm this. If the management can solve the problem with nauticStar, mastercraft can grow at the current rate (without considering the non-recurrent lost of goodwill of 31mln) in the near future.

I would stay more cautious now. Really low volumes, so it jumps like crazy. Definitely undervalued for current cash flow, however nautic industry is very very cyclical (those guys were about to file bankrupcy in 2008). Plus a non-recurrent of 23 mln for NauticStar does not help. Very low liquidity does not help either. Investor are scared about uncertain outlook of the market.

"Investors and analysts are paying quite a bit of attention to weak boating sales data that came out on Friday. The wave of downgrades within the sector today include Raymond James on MCFT, MBUU and HZO (Market Perform from Strong Buy) and JPMorgan on Brunswick (Neutral from Overweight)."

Just read this, thanks. All sounds a bit vague. Good chance to pick up some good companies do you think?

I think this is a very well run business. Low awareness so when larger investors sell or buy, it jumps around quite a lot. Should work out great long term

Could someone tell me why the stock falls? The fundamentals are great, the company grows well and I did not found bad news.... Any idea? Thanks :-)

The fundamentals data of the last years are really good, I think it is a great growth stock. Competitors are not doing better and I see not many risks... Could you tell me if you agree or if I say something wrong?
