MANULIFE- (Short selling $30.06K; Ratio 0.813% ) announced that, for the first quarter of 2022, the net income of the group rocketed 2.79x YoY to CAD2.97 billion. The core earnings, on the other hand, eroded 4.7% to CAD1.552 billion. The dilutedEPSwas CAD1.5. A quarterly dividend of CAD0.33 per share was declared.
