 Couldnt agree more. No emotional look at numbers. I lost £70k in my first year when i was actually learning it. solely becuase of 2 things 1. FOMO and 2 Emotions attached. Yes i made triple back and i consider that loss to be a good teacher but not everyone has to go through it or least not everyone can afford to loose that much money.
