LMND Comments

I recommend we rename to Lemon
The main thing is I requested a quote on my home twice, they are 20% higher than State Farm. Of course this is only one example but I've watched Dan Schreiber and their CFO Tim Bixby on Dave Lee, Dan is pretty slick and says all the right things. The CFO is not impressive, really doesn't seem to have a command of his numbers. If an online company can't compete on price, what do they have?
I cannot even begin to imagine the money people have lost taking MotleyFool recommendations. Those guys should stop charging people for their subscriptions. They tell people they are giving “timely” recommendations, but yet tell you to hold 3-5 years. They play both sides. Must be sold out to hedge funds. Their service is worthless.
Long term investing
Correct. For example, Motlet had Tesla as the buy of the week when it was $100 pre-split and Shopify when it was $25.
*Motley
Very good swing trade stock, buy low and sell high
entered 82
me too, selling it at around 132.
Wow! Who would have thought 3 months ago that LMND would be at $83.
And yet Motley Fool recommended to buy at $100+ two weeks ago. Only FOOLS bought. Lol.
It was a good buy at $100, believe it or not most people have an investment strategy longer than two weeks.
Entered last week at 104$
Entered at $96
110 150
Motley Fool pump today. Should be under $105 friday.
More like 8 out of ten times he pumps the market. Backwards friend.
How do you know when there is a Motley fool rec?
How do you know when there is a Motley fool rec?
Perfectly reached to target 110
250
?
This week will be 110
Matter of few days 🤣
Doubt it, pumped by Fools, I hope people learned from this.
Same fool will pump again
Belongs around 65 and under. Sell asap before you lose another 20%
Time for buying?
they encourage you to buy and take their profit of the generated increases, but you have to wait for *****years.
I bought it at 60 from the recommendation of tge same Fools and sold at 180. Now buying back. I'm not mad at them.
And? I buy all my stocks and wait for years. Thats what long-term investing is.
Under 70 will be good buy
40
got in at 116. But price was good.
The CEO of Lemonade, Daniell Shreiber, sold 94.5% of his stock holdings last month. That's right, this MFer had 860k, sold most at the peak and is now holding only 50k shares just so he can claim to be a share holder.
Actually, premium increased 20% YoY. The reason their revenue appeared to have declined is because of the "proportional resinsurance agreements" that went into effect, which they claim to have made any YoY revenue comparisons misleading. I don't fully understand what the proportional reinsurance agreements is.
You may be right but I dont usually go into that much detail into the nitty gritty of any business. I believe whatever the company plan on doing can be quantifiable. Analyst who specialized in this sector would be able to quantify every aspect of LMND more than armchair investors like me. Their forecast have been spot on for as far as i can tell. And it only points to a slow down for quite some time now. corporate insiders selling is not the most reliable sell signal imo.
 Agreed.
This is the perfect buying opportunity to get back into LMND!
Nope, way too expensive
Buy the dip and hold for the long-term. lemonade is the future of insurance
 way overvalued
that's my point
P/E valuations dont matter as much for a growth company. They spend earnings on capex to grow. P/E is important metric for established companies that cant utelize all that earnings for growth.
What just hapenned? Why the 11% drop at opening? Did they do that badly on their earnings?
Anyone knows, not here.
beat 2 target
maybe today is my buyback time. Again sold at 180 so this starts to be a good enough dip for me.
buying now at 115. good price for me.
I bought this stock from these guys.... It's up 1% will it go up more or shall I TP?? Are they any good?  Did anyone use their earnings?  https://tradeticker.news/earning/lmnd/
Lol it can move 1% in a minute in one way or the other
I bought at 60, sold at 180 and still waiting for a decent dip to buy back in
Lemonade will miss thier earning.. All the best everyone.
All market was red. we will see what happens before earnings ... I hope it will go up again.
