that was a terrible mistake selling site for 20 million when they could have redeveloped it and made a gain of 100 million.
property prices are definitely in dublin down roughly 10%. my neighbours house is up for sale. interest rates rising are causing decline.
property prices are rising sharply after a year slump. buy at this cheap price
according to bonkers blog irish property prices could fall 40% due to higher debt repayment. so this stock with 40% debt will fall to .9 euro
worth a buy now. things can't be that bad.
the government are so corrupt that they are now rigging statistics about house price inflation. impossible when compared to how much money I made. bring on election.
at current irish property prices this reit should be valued at least 1.46. its crashed!! why??
if its not higher interest rates or movement of capital then could somebody tell me why share price has fallen.
I don't know how remote working will affect dublin property where most of these reits property is based. it will long term effect rents charged particularly beacon quarter where they charge a massive 3k per month. that's ridiculous rent as I live nearby .
cheaper property is badly needed. as a landlord this is also a good thing as can get better rental yield when prices are cheaper. I just have to be careful I don't get into too much debt.
rising interest rates will crash property prices even in ireland. which is why it's starting to fall before the true statistics are revealed.
we all agree that we are in asset bubble but if experts can't agree whether we will have further asset inflation or deflation what hope has ordinary investors.
this is becoming a bargain as fall in value is more to do with flow of money out of certain stocks than value of irish property.
according to phoenix magazine it looks Canadian founders may sell their stake at height of market
according to irish independent property prices in Dublin South is overvalued but undervalued in limerick city. that's the problem with this rent it doesn't know how to be a small player and beat average returns.
Good value for your money now as property prices have risen 46% since 2015. Still have to pay a premium of 10%
Interest rates will rise creating cheaper property. Perfect for me as landlord. Timing is everything.
According to statistics on cso. Ie irish property has risen 35% since 2015 when this reit was set up. Buying this reit is like paying a 15% premium to acquire a home. You wouldn't do it in real life.
The two apartments that I bought in 2015 have appreciated 55% which was a much better investment than any reit at least in theory. But this reit was showing a return of 83% in March. Until somebody tells me otherwise I consider the Irish stock exchange a scam. I believe I am not the only one who h as lost money investing in it. Better stick to pension funds or index investing.
What I am saying is that most of those who try to beat the market end up worse off compared to the market rather than trying to reflect it.
What a drop. Now I would consider buying the stock. True value.
May have cheap in January but way overvalued now
