Its already known what they WANT to do, so whats the point? No word on yields or whatsoever, for obvious reasons. And from what I heard this is currently their main problem next to only being able to produce small quantities. But keep repeating and reading propaganda.

You are overestimating the content level of this so called news. SPR was already positively tested many years ago and look what this information was really worth in the end. NOTHING. Everything that is useful in terms of real information is missing in this paper. Given the circumstances that they are not really mentioning anything towards yields is rather concering than encouraging. But hey what do I really know. You seem to know it all :) And last but not least, its semi official how many EUV machines Intel really has, and they would need TOP yields to avoid product delays. Nobody is going to release a new product (with unique properties) if you dont have enough stock at launch. So in the end HVM and in general real product launchs will be rather delayed or moved to tsmc. and latter was already being discussed, because apparently Intel was moving far more tiles over to tsmc than initially planned. This is the exact opposite of being confident about your own node.

No surprise Intel is down >4% today. What a shame though cuz I want a high short selling price before the ER. The higher it rises till then the steeper it falls afterwards ;) Bummer.

It is just rumour yet and there is nothing official out, but allegedly Intel is having problems with its upcoming node - it wouldnt be unexpected anyhow :)
