  • Intel chips are large, power hungry. Did they outsource 3nm chips to TSMC?
    0
    • Told u dump this TRASH , LOL
      1
      • Btw apparently most part of the q3 beating was due to a divesture and a tax credit lol Which makes it sounds at first better than it really was
        1
        • Yep. CFO said 14 cents came from one-time items like tax restructuring.
          0
      • 14 nm was the bread winer for at least 5 years. Intel expects to roll out five new nodes in 4 years.
        1
        • Lol Pat - “all nodes ahead of schedule” “we are closing the gap rapidly” “very soon we will create superior products that will be handsomely rewarded” 😂😂😂
          2
          • Has he stated specific times for new nodes?
            0
          • Nothing specific the entire call lol. Question on market share. Ans: “Semis are hot. We will soon have tremendous products that will win it back. We are seizing the opportunity. Carpe diem.” Lmao

          • 5 new nodes in the next 4 years, so a new node every 12-18 months minium!
            0
        • Probably wait till next week to buy the dip. Look at last quarter (ie July 22nd), the stock dropped after hours like today and then lost another 5% the next day (July 23rd)

          • yeap true
            0
        • worst case it could slide back to 42$ support
          1
          • if that happens ibuy ton of intel because then there is enough margin safety
            1
          • I think i’ll do a small position at 45, and average around 42-43, targetting an exit around 48-52.

          • sounds good
            0
        • Wow the afterhours low is 48.2
          1
          • 45 should be good support, may be worth a swing trade there.
            1
          • Vedant Hurdle Rateyeap thats pretty easy money if it drops there

        • remember buying company with cheaper valuation than industry average means always something;) buying "cheap p/e" companies thinking they are bsrgain is usually rookie mistake and here we are again proving it.

          • Overreaction at the least. Wait for it

          • Major factor in margin decline, 4 new nodes in 5 years. And new accounting of results.
            0
            • Actually it's 5 noded in 4 years.
              0
            • Yes but looking at their track record, how likely is it that the 4 nodes will be on time…
              0
          • This is a gold mine. Just keep selling blind ones, I'll buy it all

          • Gross margins will remain below historical average for next 2-3 years, but should stay over 50%that was pat. $51.3 after hours. Tempted to put a buy order at $51 for the open.

              • Outlook for Q4 worse than expected lol. Thanks for your money too, I bought puts just before closing. Well I told ya so, I warned you multiple times, but its always the same, and it will be the same again, a few more times to come. There were some good surprises in the earning report, but all together its rather "bad" than "good". Down-adjusted guidance for dcg was missed. ccg margins dropped, altho asp slightly higher etc etc.. And do you remember what I told ya yesterday and before, I said keep a very very close eye on the margin/guidance for Q4. It's disappointing.

                • May go long for a quick swing trade if intel goes to 45-47.

                • Marcus Berntsson Taiwan is a sovereign nation that has no interest bending to knee for China. Obviously China can crush them, but it wouldn't happen without armed conflict.

                • Härkä Bullno, fears of WW3 will crater the market. Everyone will try to liquidate all their holdings ASAP. Taiwan’s guaranteed by US, Japan, Australia, NATO, and probably a bunch others.

                • Unlike Afghanistan or Kurds, chip superiority matters. Ain’t no way West gives up TSM to China without a fight.

              • Wow 7.5%. Stop, it’s already dead

                • I sell some CCs before earnings, around 20-30%. My 2023 leaps are deep in the money so not worried

              • Gotta love Mr Mkt 13B mkt cap wiped out over a revenue miss of a hundred mill. Only thing to do is add more.
                4
                • exactly people buy intel now because amd doesnt have amy products left like nvidia
                  1
                • None if this equals a 20B Wipeout None of it. AMD even at current growth needs decades to get to where intc is rev wise and they were 50% of the mkt cap so if intc is overvalued now amd is ridiculously overvalued beyond anyone's widest dreams when you compare
                  0
                • John Lakranno the only limiting factor is wafer availability. Which is going up rapidly. Market share loss will accelerate. Intel has a very short window to stem the loss and they cannot afford to delay their next node. Which they 99% will and GG.
                  0
              • INTC down over 6% and we have this tard DelTrader telling us it was bullish.

                  • Umm DCG is flat compared to last quarter. At a time when dataservers are booooming. Wonder who they bought from 🤔
                    1
