      • in case anyone wonders why the temporal uptick: Intel Corp. said it will provide commercial foundry services in the first phase of a U.S. Department of Defense program that aims to make circuits and commercial products required for the department's systems.Dont get too exited. margins might be okay, but volumina are low thus meaningless

        • Can, you once talk about AMD difficulties? And not all the time of intel problems? Why are you showing up so much fanboyism man just go to amd forum and tell them amd problems.

        • It would be boring, apart from capacity restrictions there is barely anything to say. tick tock (and its not intel) Either way, you are always good for a laugh man. Mostly because you are a way too emotional investor and confuse bias with facts. I couldnt care less about AMD or Intel. I was invested in Intel too, and made my money twice with trading back and forth during those bull traps seasons between earnings. And yes, I am invested in AMD too, but based on pure facts and solid numbers, not because "I think" something. Its just an investment, its just money. And you my friend, certainly bought intel out bias, emotional reasons and preference. This is a typical rookie mistake. This does not mean intel will forever go down- or sideways. But everyone that is against your opition, is bad mhhhkay. Wow duh. Then we should just close the forum.

      • Some people here are like 12 years old, they say Nvidia and AMD grow at 30-40% a year. Not my friend, they had only last year a 30-40% growth. The world did not start in 2020. Look back and realize, in 2018 AMD was declining and had negative earings, Nvidia in 2017 the same. You should look at an average of the last 10 years, not just last year sales over 2019.

      • Wonderful opportunity to buy more. I started a small position 2 months ago at 55 levels, luckily this drop is helping me build my position at a lower average. Seeing the earnings growth in the past, there is no doubt. Intel is growing nicely at around 12% every year. Of course it is not growing at 30-40% as AMD did last year, but AMD had like 8bn in sales in 2020, not 75bn. It easy to grow fast when you are tiny. We will see if AMD and NVidia will keep on growing with 30-40%. The same people overpay now for these 2, will be crying around when they will get a year of 10% growth and their valuation crack

        • I said all you said before! Absolutely I agree with you Amd and Nvidia are overhyped stocks! We will see with the competition heading up Intel will dominate everything I'm just impatient to wait for alder lake and Arc they will beat all the market!

                  • Wrong. Firstly, I do not own companies. That would be good, though. Secondly, what matters is if my investments return profit. That's it.

                    0
                • Any reasons for this drop? Or just analyst are downgrading in order to buy more?

                  • https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/INTEL-CORPORATION-4829/news/INTEL-CORP-Gets-a-Buy-rating-from-JP-Morgan-36207631/ Funny for long JPMorgan is already reiterating their target price. Guess what, the market does not care. Why? All the market currently cares about are results not just more of Intels empty talk and more hot air. The architecture day was not really helpful either. Many questions have been simply dismissed, prep time was barely existent etc.. The last months have been all about postponements and yet just more empty promises. Just like before already. They need to deliver, and yes ofc there is much in the pipeline and potentially good products. Its either too late or too "little", and does not mean the products are bad. Nobody wants a vaccine after the pandemic is over. Having Nvidia (just had their earnings report) and AMD obviously extremely benefiting from the current supercycle, only shows once more how much intel could benefit but is not and as I said in my last post, peak demand hit already more or less supply during the last weeks! This will add additional stress to sales, because usually they were only 2nd choice. If supply is lower than demand, this means, this will mostly eat sales from intel than others. And if the overall market plumbs, it usually rather drives down sales of the market share leader than its competitors.
                    1
                  • of course i meant if demand is lower than supply.. duh

                          • 1 day ago you didnt even know Arc was postponed, so please. I might paint everything a little bit bit too dark, but you my friend certainly live in your blue bubble. Being positive is one thing, being blue-eyec is the other. You did not even try to discuss any of my arguments. No response. Instead you just bring up arguments that I already dissected in previous posts. Thus either my arguments are simply right and/or you tried to simply outweigh them with other things. Either way, some numbers arent to argue with. You think dg2 will make a considerable change to anything? Did you check the TAM? Do you know the ASP or any margins? DG2 will fill in a currently still open gap just like the i3-portfolio did. downside = lower margins. AL is a good start, but its no holy grail. Its just too little and too late. and even if not, the real money is made in the datacenter segment and this one is proned to decline until sapphire rapids comes out. SPR might stop the bleeding, but this is only a best case scenario considering comes up with 96 cores, ddr5 and full avx support. you always think its just about the private sector, its not. And you should be very carefull if demand rolls back even stronger, intel will be the very first one to feel the impact.

                          • cmon mobileye has no chance against nvidias self driving computer LOL

                          • Last quarter nvidia automotive revenue, $152 million up 37% over previous year. Last quarter Mobileye revenue 327, up 124% over previous year. It doesn't look like no chance to me.

                        • does anybody knows if Intel is good for anything?
                          2
                          • Mobileye, best p/e, best R&D, own FABS and so on
                            3
                          • Evgeny See Best R&D? That's a big load of copium when you look at Intel's track record. The ship might be turning, but talking about best R&D right now isn't based on reality.
                            1
                          • No. He doesn't know Intel. He maybe talking Apple?
                            1
                        • lol intel delays every year amd has probably 3 new products and intel needs to always start from scratch when competitors are ahead rip
