So you're going to sell highest dividend paying stock on receiving end of corporate welfare to buy a small cap stock that pays no dividends doesn't sound

When price of a stock increases and divi amount stays same yield goes down Johnson Johnson , JPM , procter and gamble, walmart has slow price growth at least they dont have 5 years steady price like intel. So when you buy and hold for long time your yield will be lot higher actual yield of today

Roy Nisani count from 2020 october 10.2020 . It is 1.5 years mate since i bought if i give 6 months more it will be 2 years. Intel’s growth will happen in 1-2 months at the end of 5 years? Cmon where is progress? If i wait 6 months more they will consume almost half of time that i gave for progress

Future events and trends determine future price. Smart investors will sell rival overpriced chip stocks and enjoy higher dividends and price appreciation by buying intel. This early trend is already playing out.

I could say told ya so, nobody listens anyway. ouch what a margin bleed, they are even lower than what Pat!! promised gross 49% lol. (AMD had 48% last eq). dcg margins are down by 30% lol. Duh, thats what I already suspected last year , intel had to drastically lower xeon sp prices to sell anything, thus the hefty margins drop. And considering SPR is about get delayed and mass production at best at the end of the year well.... you know how that is going to play out further in dcg.

They said margins will go up in the second half of the 5 year plan. Also that those future products will all be on schedule to bring back “intel’s unquestioned leadership”. Problem is, competitors won’t be in a standstill waiting - the gap will further increase. Dataservers are lost, if CCP demand normalises, the bleeding will accelerate. I have said before, but Chips Act passing may push Intel to around 65… Take the opportunity and get out. You can reenter around the current price in 2-2.5 years.

And you think 50 is good? Apart from that, it's not what was being pinky promised the time before. No offense, this drives whatever he has to say ad absurdum. And as Vedant just mentionend, ccp is about to decline rather sooner than later (very likely already during this year, H2). Thus the overall pie gets smaller, and usually the ones having the biggest shares will suffer the most - and you know who that is.Apart from that IDM2.0 will have to fight against global overcapacities starting most likely in H2/2023. This will drive margins for Intel just down the drain, just like with dcg (lol 24%). Intels IDM2 will very likely end up like GloFo. Just look what happened and is happening with nand-prices when overcapacities comes into play, the threat is real and not just potential. The exploding capex does the rest... To sum up, while AlderLake itself is helping to gain shares back in ccg, it wont change the exploding capex, stop the bleeding in dcg or help in any way with IDM2 (very low margins and high expenses). Those are 3 very big rocks on the agenda.

Having their own fabs should mean a higher GM, not lower. No middleman like TSMC. The reason it’s dropping is lower DCG margins. Which is a big big red flag. See consumer and OEM demand are likely cyclical, buy cloud and data servers are in a supercycle. They actually degrew cloud. Wonder how took it 🤔
