First National Bank of Botswana Limited provides various banking and related products and services to individuals, businesses, corporates, and private clients in Botswana. The company operates through four segments: FNB Retail, FNB Commercial, RMB Corporate, and Treasury. It offers cheque, transactional savings, student, youth, corporate transact, and business accounts; call accounts, notice and fixed deposits, treasury bills, and bonds products; overdrafts; personal, tertiary, graduate, home, and business loans, as well as vehicle and asset, commercial property, purchase order, and corporate finance services; first funding employee loan schemes; and credit and debit cards. The company also provides foreign exchange solutions; Islamic finance and financial planning services; forex and trade services, such as payment, and import and export solutions; and accounting and custody services. In addition, it offers agricultural solutions, farming enterprise finance services, business investment solutions, and farm risk insurance finance services; and payment, funding, and cash management services to the public sector. Further, the company provides corporate and investment banking services; private banking services comprising wealth and advisory, and structured lending services; funeral, debt protection, car, building, and travel insurance services, as well as business insurance services, including fire, business interruption, electronic equipment, business all risks, glass, goods in transit, money theft, public liability, workers compensation, and vehicle; and online and cellphone banking services. Additionally, it offers InContact Pro, an electronic platform for managing the money in business accounts. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Gaborone, Botswana. First National Bank of Botswana Limited operates as a subsidiary of First National Bank Holdings (Botswana) Limited.
