  •            Enrich the conversation, don’t trash it.

  •           Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.

  •           Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically. Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user. Racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination will not be tolerated.

  • Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases. Comments that are written in all caps and contain excessive use of symbols will be removed.

In addition, any of the above-mentioned violations may result in suspension of your account.
  • Doxxing. We do not allow any sharing of private or personal contact or other information about any individual or organization. This will result in immediate suspension of the commentor and his or her account.
  • Don’t monopolize the conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also strongly believe in giving everyone a chance to air their point of view. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.

...a loss of hundreds of billions ....absolutely insane. If the supervisory authorities do not investigate, disclose and prevent such incidents, all investor confidence will be lost.

I don't think we are near the top. I do think the hedge funds (as usual) find a small gap or issue in the earning report and then attempt to tank the stock by hitting lower bids to destroy the share price It is an old trick they use, especially in after hours when institution and activity is low. This leads to liquidations when the market opens. Price stays lower for the short term and then rebounds.

How can "disappointed investors" lead to a 15% drop in the share price of one of the world's largest companies after the close of trading? I ask for an explanation.....or the arrest of those responsible.

The "market" did not like the slightly lowered forecast and the increased capex. All minor numbers that make no difference in the long term. In fact, they are positive. But hedge funds need to use certain topics in these reports to justify the joined up attack on the share price by taking out lower bids. It was manipulated. There is no way the price drops like this and that everyone thinks the same way on an earnings report like this.

I think Zuck was sandbagging on the conference call tp get better prices for him and his insider cronies to add shares. Also. wall st never likes to hear a company talk about investing in its future bc short-sighted traders care only about immediate profits

This is true. Investors see capex expenses as a reason to sell and short. These are not investors though...just gambling trying to guess a price move.
