what's going on here, this makes no sense
one year ago air travel numbers were much worse with COVID, now is much better at pre COVID levels in many places yet Airbus stock is lower than oner year ago with profits increasing, the return of dividends, the increase in military that will happen in Europe
Take a look at Boeing, Safran, MTU, they did not drop hard at all today and went up yesterday. Airbus lost 7 percent compared to them, who went up. Yet none of them make profit much
This is crazy I think airbus should do a buyback, they have more than 8 billion in cash
Airbus market cap is now below Boeing again... are you guys completely out of your mind? The market share is 70:30, and Airbus makes record profits while Boeing makes record losses.
So, what do you think? How low do you think this could drop, and what would be a good entry price?
The whole industry went up 2 or 3 percent today except Airbus at 0. Airbus is the only company in the industry that is pretty much profitable from all the hundreds of airlines and oems. Not only that, they posted record profits. Still 40 percent below ath. So tell me, what is a good entry price then? 150?
A321xlr just flyed for the first time today...
Joe you are really bad, many stocks and crypto are down 90% but you are so clever to short Airbus that is increasing profits and will increase dividend. Shorts only make it cheaper for the longs to buy.
short is king !!
Newsflash: buying the dip does not mean that you buy a stock because it got discounted heavily. People do this mistake with Corona stocks like netflix or zoom, delivery hero or zalando. They all returned to pre pandemic levels. Buying the dip means an opportunity to buy a stock that is undervalued. Boeing is not undervalued given its earnings and very bleak future. Airbus is highly undervalued given its earnings the past year and its very bright future given the bleak future of Boeing. Judging by Airbus, which given its mindblowingly great earnings, the stock went sideways since a year for absolutely no reason, while the aforementioned stocks just went crashing down, maybe you should all think again what 'buying the dip' actually means.
It is clear that Boeing is selling planes at below cost, making loss for each plane they sell because no one wants them. Airbus meanwhile is OUTSOLD until 2027. Their earnings show the difference. Yet, market cap is still almost the same. Boeing has a pile of debt which they can never pay back because each of their supposed cash cow programs turn out to be record loss making(737, 787, 777x) This means that Boeing cannot ever, not this or even next decade start a new program. This means the status quo will be present for many many years to come. This means almost monopoly pricing instead of duopoly pricing by Airbus, with earnings going to be even more ridiculous in the next months and beyond. How hard is this to understand?
I think you all lost your sense of reality. How can a company that has tripled its profit margin during 2021 compared to its highest ever profit margin, during the greatest crisis in the history of its industry, trade below the value of last year? Please, someone riddle me this? Dont say it is priced in, because even the most optimistic analysts did not see the mindblowing results coming. Even more mindblowing is the stock reaction to this. Just mindblowing.
None of this ******makes sense to me, me every day since a year
The stock behaved as if Airbus isnt one of the biggest defense companies in the world. The stock behaved as if Airbus didnt beat every quarter expectation by double or triple estimates on earnings. The stock behaved as if during 2021, Airbus did not manage to triple its profit margins as compared to their all time high in 2018. The stock behaved instead of being around 200 euros as it should be given the results and Boeing being a non-threat, it is around 100. Airbus just last month beat Boeing in market cap, even if the results should have Airbus beat Boeing in market cap 3 years ago
At some point, this stock is just too undervalued to ignore, especially as no one cares about Covid and we have massive defense spending across Europe, which buys European. **** air travel in the US and EU is now above pre pandemic levels. Prepare for massive pent up FOMO that did not happen the last 4 quarters
almost 4 times as much net income as last years quarter, and almost 15 percent more revenue as compared to last years quarter, but 10 percent below in stock value. This shows the absolute insanity of this stock
In the last 4 quarters the results beat the analist expectations, still the stock went nowhere. I'm just waiting for better days, I think Airbus results will continue to improve.
Airbus market cap value is now higher than boeing...
miamiamm
short is king ! before WE
Airbus posted earnings: adjusted EBIT of 1300 million in q1 as compared to the estimated 700 million. Analysts are 'surprised' given their own estimations... Given my own estimations, I am not surprised if you have only half a brain and understand just basic economics of scale economies and monopolies, which Airbus is these days because Boeing is not a competitor anymore. Boeing can only sell planes at a cost 20 percent below margin, while Airbus can earn 20 percent on average margin per plane. In what kind of definition is that still a duopoly? Airbus can go for monopoly pricing and analyst fail to see it each quarter earnings and are surprised by the profit margins Airbus command and the profit they earn. Double the profits as compared to estimations and you guys failed to see it lmao
Another great quarter for Airbus. Crazy to think the stock was trading around 100 euros in 2018. Still the results are much better now and with the ramping up of the A320 family the results will only improve. #Long Airbus is a no brainer. Also expect the dividends to increase with the results in the next years.
go up
LONDON (Reuters) -A British judge on Tuesday denied a bid by Qatar Airways to reinstate a jet contract cancelled by Europe's Airbus in the latest twist to a dramatic feud playing out in UK courts.
Daniela Costa from Goldman Sachs retains his positive opinion on the stock with a Buy rating. The target price is unchanged and still at EUR 178.
I love 💕 this.
Before Corona, the PE ratio of Airbus was about 30. As of today: 17. Just think about it, Airbus is still massively ramping up to go even beyond precovid rates of production and it still recorded its highest profit in its history because they managed to triple profit margins and yet the pe ratio is almost half what it was.
1.5 euro dividend approaching, April 19 ex-dividend date. Probably next month we will see the first test flight of the A321 xlr.
BOC Aviation said on Monday it plans to buy 80 Airbus A320neo family jets in what is the aircraft-leasing firm's largest order.
How are you feeling about the stock market and this stock recently?
I will stay in airbus for the long term, do not care if it drops to 90 or 80. I will continue to add, the company is doing well despite all adversities. April 21 will get my 1.5 euro dividend per share.
Airbus in 2021 during a PANDEMIC posted their HIGHEST PROFIT in its HISTORY, with per plane margins TRIPLING. The whole world is opening up. Travel is returning to normal or is already in the USA and many other countries. Despite that, Airbus is currently underperforming the market, going sideways since a year. The price of the stock is way too low... good for me because I am having a lot of savings right now which I only put into Airbus.
ir Canada today announced it is acquiring 26 extra-long range (XLR) versions of the Airbus A321neo aircraft.
A321 xlr the disruptor is comming soon..
A Boeing crashed today in China..
Delta Air Lines Chief Executive Ed Bastian says that demand for flights with the airline  is at the highest level for several years, and that last week it had its largest booking day in the company’s history.“I have never seen such strong demand in my career,” Bastian said. “We haven’t seen any downtick in demand.
