good buy?
m&a rumors by UBS according to Les Echo
m&a rumors by UBS according to zone bourse.
What will happen to this stock? Will it be taken off the market?
Dead dead stock lol
Chairman of SNB resigns after his comments helped fuel the share collapse of credit suisse ( SNB = Saudi national bank not swiss, and they held 10% of the CS shares before the collapse ),, they lost around $1b or 80% of the value of their intitial investment after the takeover
Is this stock an excellent price to buy? If I buy it for 1 million USD, is it good?
No:)) But do you think this stock will go down more?
sorry, if you cannot neither read news nor comments below, you shouldn't be on a financial site !
Better keep your money elsewhere. The saga is far from over. When bondholders AT1 n investors start lawsuit against the bank then another round of crisis. Will see how the Swiss central Bank reacts later.
trading already halted ? This is it ? The end ?
yeah i see. if UBS is bullish, probably CS shares also should be "paralelly" bullish. / that the ratio from the deal = UBS share calc. 17.08 (22.48x0.76) and CS 0.76 stays in connection +/-
can anyone tell me, why people pay more than 0.76 CHF and buy this stock, when it's Pre-defined, that they'll get fix 0.76 CHF per share, when UBS merges with CS? what's the intention? because when someone buy at 0.80, they'll need to find someone who pays 0.81, instead they fix will get a loss, because the merge will pay 0.76 CHF per share? can anybody explain
if i understood well, the exchange is not based on price but on a share ratio CS / UBS. what is fixed, is the number of UBS shares CS will receive, independently of CS like UBS price
Under the terms of the all-share transaction, Credit Suisse shareholders will receive 1 UBS share for every 22.48 Credit Suisse shares held,
Most people do not know what they are doing
sign of relief, I hope they can hold and well manage this bear market.

This is unbelievable. A moment ago was 3$. Now it's almost 0.
I don't say that it's normal, but it is possible. So you have to accept it or leave.
there is no normality when a company just got declared bankrupt
the same with Wirecard (from 100 to 0.6)...
Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 value this morning = 0$. 17 billions blown away !
Interestingly Bear Stearns collapsed on March 16th 2008 , kick starting the globabl financial crisis,, the biggest covid market crash happened in mid march 2020,, what is is it with march and market crashes ?
Ceaser was killed in March - ides of March is real!
The Romans already warned about the Ides of March.
A Seer had warned; Caeser ridiculed him!
the party i not finished, as long as the small carrier keep buying the stock will get value, and credit suisse will not get wipeout in singular blow at 78 , it still worth much more on the market !!! let s buy and refuse the cheap take over.
As expected, shareholders got scammed.
Those that still were STILL shareholders deserve their fare. Archegos should have been a big enough red flag, if those before it were not proof enough
Shareholder wipeout ,, the largest Saudi shareholder will probably regret what he said on Tuesday before this rout started ,,, their $1.2b shareholdins is now worth a mere $0.2b ..
omg
That shareholder probably undrstood that he was just throwing money out of the windows and didn't want a bigger loss. I mean, they were going down since 2008
you're talking about an institutional shareholder not a retailer losing his monthly end salary and wants the ( pain to end ) Their shareholding was $1.2b and the ENTIRE BANK was sold for $3.2b,, If they were given the chance to takeover the bank at that price or even re-assess what they said last week to avoid this $1b wipeout i'm pretty sure they would have wanted a different outcome.
I just bought .68 cents and .70 cents
I told myself the same on Friday. And now, I have no money :
man. unexpected
but it is done. They sold to UBS, so they will disappear.
The party is over. Just sellll
I remember when I argued with one guy on this forum who bought CS at 10 or 11, saying it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I told him that BTC was a better option. He laughed at me. Well, here we are !
fo all people giving thumbs down, scroll down and you'll find the comments' exchange between June and August two years ago. Yes I know, truth hurts !
I stll have my BTC by the way !
game over !
This could collapse today :O
Long with 3 price target
take your losses Monday then. 25 CTS a share is the offer by UBS. it will collapse tomorrow.
We shall see.
How cute the 20% jump just because the Swiss national bank tossed them a lifebuoy. That doesn't change the structural problems of this bank, they'll run out of that 50B eventually as well.
is it even possible for a bank this size to go bankrupt ?
The only problem we keep getting continued disasters is this bailout of the banking system,, let it go bust for once, deal with the pain, and start fresh and clean and with no more problems,,
a fresh strart could lead to the same problems over time. Saving the bank could be a solution without pain...
