Article below from Barron's is posted in 2 parts, bottom line is slowdown in solar can't be good for Battle Born Batteries.

Dark Days for SolarChalk up another victim to higher interest rates: rooftop solar installations. Last week, solar device supplier Enphase Energy said that it now expects third-quarter sales to fall 20% in the third quarter. The stock, which has been a standout performer for years, is off 40% this year, my colleague Avi Salzman reports today. The CEO was surprisingly frank in an interview with Avi:“Our investors are correct,” CEO Badri Kothandaraman  told Avi this week. “They expected us to grow and to keep continuously growing, but we disappointed them.”Avi explains the issue:

Other rooftop solar stocks such as SunPower and Sunrun are also down sharply this year. Enphase sells devices called inverters that convert solar energy into usable power, as well as batteries to store solar power. The installers and distributors that buy Enphase products have seen a slowdown in sales to consumers, so Enphase’s products are piling up in inventory. Enphase is cutting its sales targets because it doesn’t expect to sell as many devices to installers.Read the rest of Avi's story here:

I posted earlier today, it disappeared. The DFLIW warrants have a strike price of $11.50. The $2 strike price warrants are private and not traded until after a lockup period.

I was wondering why the expiration was 10/2027, not 6/2028. Do you own or plan on owning any warrants? Any price targets for this company. Appreciate your thoughts.

I was looking at the warrants but the price didn't make sense, now it does. I like the company, it seems to have a great reputation, customers love the batteries, they have a 10 year warranty and no complaints from anyone. The only problem is they are losing money and the batteries cost 2x the chinese batteries, albeit with only a 1 year warranty. It seems like they would be a good acquisition candidate witht the liltium battery patents they own. Will they sell enough in 3 years to be profitable? I'm just not sure, but I'm keeping my eye on it. Thank you!

When I say the price of warrants makes sense, I don't mean they are a good deal, I mean they are cheap for a good reason. The company is losing lots of money and has inexperienced management and board. Will they double sales in 3 years? That is the question.

Appreciate your feedback. I believe the patents are huge. Certainly a takeover candidate. Although they are not in the EV sector, it would not surprise me if they entered it after successfully scaling their current anode product. I read that they will be making an all-American battery in the future. This I believe is huge. Many EV tax credits require a percentage of the battery to be American made. I believe current components have to be 60% from American sources. The percentage will increase over time in order to get the credit. The recent Nevada Battery Coalition news is also huge. If the White House also starts putting tariffs on Chinese products, then that would solve the competition issue. I believe the next 6 months are extremely crucial to show the direction for DFLI. I am holding some AUG18 and February calls. Do you have a position? Did you have a position previously?

Thank you. I was wondering why the expiration date was 10/7/27, which is not 5 years from the recently created June warrants. I already bought some. Will be interesting to see pricing on the newer warrants. Do you own any warrants? Thoughts on new or 10/7/27 warrants? Appreciate any and all feedback.

Today’s date 7/25/2023. Buy warrants. Cost .24. Expiration 10/7/2027. $2 strike. Now that DFLI is part of the Nevada Battery Coalition, it has a partnership with LAC(major lithium mine project in NV). They also have plans for a 100% made in America battery for EVs by end of 2024. Most investors in this forum have most likely done their research and know the potential of this company. Risk/reward ratio is phenomenal. Best wishes.

FYI, this is incorrect. The DFLIW warrants have strike price of $11.50, the warrants with a strike price of $2 are private and not traded at this time.
