Would somebody please teach me something here? Why are some companies, such as this one. I have a stock price starting out over $1000??? Something I don’t know that I would like to know. Please advise

It usually means they have done a reverse stock split in the past. This company has done it twice - once in 2015 and again in 2019. The first was 20 for 1 which meant if you went to bed with 20 shares you woke up with 1. You can search for “ ‘ticker symbol’ stock split” on a browser.

didn't think or suspect Capstone would do it, but to provide for the management's future they sold stock to institutional investors at a 22 percent discount to the price of the stock to raise only five million.. now if they were raising twenty million... that would be different, but just five... come on.. it is only for management salaries and future for next year or two that they raised the money like they did.  While company should do well, better than many think.. i bought and recommended this stock about 20 percent too high and at price of 8 cents higher than it is now.. sorry... my fault to believe in this company.

Capston is a screaming buy at these levels, don't read the ***they write at seeking alpha.. money burn is going to be much lower once sales pop and they will pop up very soon.  and you can take this to the bank.  Having said that, and having bought at .628 or so.. probably will sell for nice profit again soon.  my price target is .79 in two weeks by September 6th

oh.. and while this often leads the market down it almost lags and has a nice move up when the over all market recovers.. small lag then UP.

Bought again.. should be good for a bounce and maybe a bull run up from here to over 80 cents by the end of September.  Current price is 63 cents on low side 64.5 on the ask.
