Brown and Company PLC engages in the trading, manufacturing and construction, plantation, investments, leisure, real estate, health care, and other businesses in Sri Lanka. The company provides tractors; herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and natural insecticides; seeds; mineral, slow and control release, and organic fertilizers; browns automotive and motorcycle batteries, browns battmobile services, brown industrial batteries, tyres, hybrid care, and thermal engineering. It offers tool, cutting wheel, pressure washer, power generator, power systems, boilers, air compressors, and environmental engineering; Browns Deals, an online store which offers smartphones, laptops, kitchen appliances and other products; air conditioning solutions; heavy machinery and marine products; veterinary pharmaceuticals; and investments activities. In addition, it is involved in the hotelier, wood and aluminum fabrication, rental of premises, food and beverage, and investment businesses. Brown and Company PLC was founded in 1872 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
