the institutions have to make their money and increase their shares. Must watch vol and the days that the institution are increasing their shares by shorrting the stock. look up at nasdaq .com the short interest, then look up institutional shares, and how certain ones increased their shares by a lot. You can tell the days they ahort and days they don't by watching volume, price, asks, and bids. etc. among other indicators that I do not know. I m just a newbie that loves poker and this markets gives me the same thrill.

They will pump after all scared investors sell them the shares for cheap
correct did you do research on nasdaq .com about bioc?? the institutions that have stock increased their shares by a crapton! so after that, look up the info on short interest. How are these institutions increasing their shares and still make money. easy it is called short interest that will eventually lead to a short squeeze but on bioc it might be later than sooner. so they stock went up and they started to short to make money and increase their shares. if you bought under a buck, u will get their sooner, if not u got about a week or so. thos stock is volatile. so unless you are day or swing trading, just hold on and forget. if you are then watch for the days to short when the companies that believe how they changed the last few months, will also short. some days they dont so watch for a while, this is my 2nd full week to watch.
it is called shorting or short interest look it up on nasdaq. com a pump huh I call it poor PR and good timed PR but besides that it is basic marketing but ok lets call it "pump" as my teacher Tim S calls it as well
