they need to cut the dividend yield which help with the share price and the financial performance

How can the stock drop so significantly when the earnings haven't even been released today?
They were released. I feel there was a leak before market closed yesterday

These opportunities don't come by very often. At these prices I'm buying and if prices drop I'm buying more until they start heading back up.
Ive been loading up on this at these lower prices!
doesnt seem like there’s a bottom…
When is the last day to buy and get dividend? Ex date is dec 16.
The day before, i.e., December 15th.
Target $35
Bell is moving in the right direction with this fiber deal last monyh. It may take a bit to come back to mid 40’s low 50’s but it will

I agree. The only issue is if Trump will allow this deal to go ahead. I don't think they will like the foreign ownership of something critical like a fiber network.
Position size in place...waiting for the share price to reach and pass $40Cdn
Added at $37.38
Interesting play here. Dividend reinvestment as an added bonus.

Mirko said that Bell will continue to pay dividends until the end of Dec 2025. Basically $1 per share per quarter which is pretty amazing.
I like the story and the share price.

Shocking news about buying Ziply. Never heard of the company. I felt that the satellite route is the go to technology. However I realize that satellite doesn't have the speed or reliability of fiber. Plus over the long term fiber is a lot cheaper to manage. So why would Bell venture into the US? I understand the reason now. Canada is only 40M people and it is saturated and over regulated (CRTC made Bell sell it's fiber that they just laid to its competition at wholesale prices) with no more growth opportunities. Bell's expertise is extensive in Fiber and telecommunications so there will be synergies definitely for both companies . Adding an additional 1.3M customers with a potential of 3 million in 4 years is not possible in Canada. This will be the start or something big that I think the investors will eventually see.

After this mergerc, Bell will become the 3rd largest fiber provider behind AT&T and Verizon in North America. This is a huge opportunity for the company to grow.
This looks like we're going to see something close to $40 before it stabilizes.

Doubled down just under $40

Nice stock for dividend portfolio, good price now on support

wait for the rate cuts it is worthy of waiting
158% payout ratio is non sense and can't sustainable. No buy until it's fixed
Their Payout ratio is in reality around 85%. For a company that is investing actively in capital investments, accounting amortization or other expenses on capital have to be added in the cash flow statement to get the earnings that are really affecting cash flows which are needed to pay dividends or reinvest.
Good buy at 51.20
Better today at 45.50 lol!
added some at 45.75 today.
Great long term investment. steady dividends increasing every 12-16 months.
