American Bio Medica Corporation is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of lateral flow immunoassay tests, primarily for the immediate detection of drugs in urine and oral fluid. The Company also distributes a number of other products related to the immediate detection of drugs and alcohol. It manufactures a number of products that detect the presence or absence of drugs in urine. It manufactures the various urine drug testing product lines, including The Rapid Drug Screen (RDS), RDS InCup, Rapid TOX, Rapid TOX Cup and Private Label Products. RDS is a patented rapid drug test that detects the presence or absence of 2-10 drugs simultaneously in a single urine specimen. RDS InCup is a drug-testing cup that detects the presence or absence of 1-12 drugs in a urine specimen. Its OralStat is a drug test for the detection of drugs in oral fluids. Its Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) test does detect RSV in both children under the age of six, as well as adults over the age of 60.
