close above resistance at $43.15 would be real nice today. Ready to start that new upward trend.
I think this company will get significantly involved in the marijuana business during the next MJ hype cycle.  Bullish in that I feel like it has seen it's cyclical bear market already.  I think this company could perform well even if we get a bear market in overall stocks soon
However, retesting march lows is definitely possible and IMO also likely.  So waiting to buy.

what app are you using? thanks
Cigarettes sales have risen 30% so far, hard liquor sales up 300% !! 20 million will stay unemployed for a while.... Very good for Altria-shares in the near future, isn't it ? Think so !
the only thing that blind you from seeing that growth is declining persistently for this industry is your unhealthy loyalty towards your MARLBORO. smoke it!
say what now losers?
you're assuming everyone is here for capital gains. right now, this is still an income stock. even if the dividend were cut in half the stock and drop JUUL and if would still be a deal. do you actually read annual reports or only headlines?
SEC investigstion... puts and shorts now
My ideal buy zone for this stock is about 33 to $37. Watching and waiting!
Hahahahahahahahahaha dont we all wish it hasnt been there since 2013 ????
The way the market is going, we might just see $33
maybe even lower lol
i like their recent moves, turing the juul stock price hit into a write off as profit for share holders, i like that they are getting into marijuana, i like them getting more in alcohol, they are focused on what they are already good at. i see it as a very solid low risk long or lifetime buy
Test
new dividend is .84 correct?
YES... that has been the news... i think it's good... such a huge dividend in the past kept the company from growing, i see this as a long term and possibly a lifetime stock purchase.
Rbc capital set a price target of $68
7.50% yield is super. But is jt sustainable amid declining rate of revenue , net income and eps ? With 80% dividend payout. Theres little room for expansion. Soon lower earnings will squeeze tight for a dividend cut to stay healthier. Ofcos its not gonna go bust. Im saying its lacking growth drive. Not even slow growth. Good luck guys. Its only make sense as a value play but again put your time and holding lost decades period into consideration. High Div aint sustainable and cant compromise for your time.
Revenue , net income and eps continues at a drastic y-o-y declining rate. Bear in mind that once a high grower can becomes a slow grower. Every era has different leaders. There used to be railroad, steel, oil, chemical , motor, att, computer giants taking leading after one another thru changing era and business environment. We have to accept change. Im not saying MO will be gone but the growth engine is exhasted.
let's go up & up
Recent upward moves are mainly due to S&P 500 moving up. Idiosyncratic risks remain and increase with medical evidence. It is more than just a loss of investment in JUUL. The prospect of e-cigarretes combating a secular decline in core cigarrete market is in question too. If secular declines are priced in, the P/E should be 5 to 8 times, which would make a good buy for me at those prices. I tried to find the framework agreement between Altria and PMI on IQOS commercialization but couldn't. Does anyone know how and by how much Altria will benefit from IQOS?
upside of 10% is definitely doable. WDYT?
Definitely. Bad news is priced in to the stock, so any good news (or neutral or less bad) can give it a quick boost. Price is great. Dividend is great. Earnings are still great. These situations make for safe short-term gains or long-term value opportunities.
Actually, the 1.8 bil. is equal to the shares outstanding.
When does the 1.8 bil. kick out the ethanol corn crop and replace it with fields of marijuana or fields of MO?
Still down trend
Buy and hold for the long term. People will continue to smoke
let me know when countries started to ban smoking or cigarettes. In the meantime, i will keep buying more whenever there is a chance.
Now what? I said 34
tmr 34-35
too bad there no option to ignore posters like this *****
u should ignore investing for all. loser
India became the latest country to ban electronic cigarettes only days after Juul Labs Inc.’s products vanished from online Chinese marketplaces, signaling that Asian nations may be no refuge for the industry from an escalating crackdown in the U.S.
