Alfa S.A.B. de C.V., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the petrochemical and synthetic fiber and refrigerated food businesses in Mexico. It operates through two segments, Alpek and Sigma. The company manufactures petrochemical and synthetic fiber products, including purified terephtalic acid, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), recycled PET, polypropylene, expandable polystyrene, chemical specialties, and industrial chemicals. It also provides refrigerated food products comprising cooked meats, such as ham, sausages, bacon, pork sausage, etc.; aged meats, including serrano, prosciutto, salami, fuet, etc.; dairy products, which includes yogurt, cheese, etc.; and snacks, prepared foods, non-perishable products, refrigerated, frozen, beverages, plant-based products, drinks, etc. The company markets its products to approximately 29 countries worldwide. Alfa S.A.B. de C.V. was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico.

Como bien se menciono una empresa sin mas futuro, se han tomado decisiones sorprendentemente erróneas y eso se ve reflejado en el precio de la acción, no cualquier management pierde mas de la mitad de valor de mercado en 3 anos. Error tras error y no hay señales de algun catalizador a corto, mediano o largo plazo. A manera de "trading" es compra por debajo de 21 pesos, sin embargo es mucho mejor estrategia operarla en corto ya que el panorama económico rebasa las capacidades de la empresa. Una vez mas queda demostrado que el market castiga a las empresas apáticas y sin sentido en la toma de decisiones.

Una empresa estancada sin mayores planes de inversión y catalizadores, difícil panorama en ventas en el core de sus subsidiarias y nula inversión de capital en los próximos anos. Si bien esta operando en sus bandas de rebote, la probabilidad de que exista una sana corrección en los mercados americanos traerá mas presión sobre el precio de la acción a sus 22 pesos.
