abrdn Global Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund), formerly Aberdeen Global Income Fund, Inc., is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company. The Fund's principal investment objective is to provide high current income by investing primarily in fixed income securities. Its secondary investment objective is to seek capital appreciation, but only when consistent with its principal investment objective. It invests approximately 80% of its net assets in debt securities. The Fund's investments are divided into three categories: Developed Markets, Investment Grade Developing Markets and Sub-Investment Grade Developing Markets. Approximately 60% of its total assets are invested in fixed income securities of issuers in Developed Markets or Investment Grade Developing Markets. The Fund invests approximately 40% of its total assets in fixed income securities of issuers in Developed Markets. Its investment manager is abrdn Asia Limited. Its sub-adviser is Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited.
