Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measures the annualized change in the inflation-adjusted value of all goods and services produced by the economy. It is the broadest measure of economic activity and the primary indicator of the economy's health.

A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive/bullish for the NZD, while a lower than expected reading should be taken as negative/bearish for the NZD.

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I just wanted to know how (which website) to listen at the FOMC speeches and other events that are released in speech form instead of official data. Thank you in advance!

Its all about expectation in currency trading. To go UP the Actual has to beat the forecast.

1.2% is a pretty high. I think that 1.1% is more reasonable.
