"The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce's consumer confidence index rose to a five-month high of 43.9 in October 2021 from 41.4 a month earlier, advancing for the second straight month, amid improving COVID-19 situations in Thailand. The country reportedly has inoculated about 42% of the population as it started welcoming earlier this month vaccinated tourists arriving by air from more than 60 "low-risk" nations, without quarantine. Meantime, recent data showed daily confirmed infections in Southeast Asia's second-largest economy were around 10,000." Bull trend line has broken now, I think this is heading to 33.3ish before by the end of the year, I will look to short this.  -IMO-
"The IHS Markit Thailand Manufacturing PMI rose to 50.9 in October 2021 from 48.9 a month earlier. This marked the first expansion in factory activity since April and the steepest pace in 2-1/2 years, as output rose for a second straight month and at a survey record pace, and buying levels grew at a record speed. That said, new orders continued to fall, export sales droped for the third month in a row and job shedding continued. Meantime, suppliers’ delivery times lengthened for a second straight month on reports of flooding in certain areas. Regarding prices, input price inflation eased to a two-month low, but was sustained at a strong rate by historical standards amid higher raw material and shipping costs; while selling charges went up marginally. Lastly, confidence remained strong, though the level of sentiment eased from September’s over two-year high."  Source: "tradingeconomics.com/thailand/news"

Sorry Bulls but I'm getting out of my 2 long here at 33.20, stubbornness is not good for trading. I have opened a short here at 33.19, Bearishness hasn't ended yet, IMO. Now you can go ahead with your dislike...LOL
I would also like some input
What country are you from?
if you have something to say, say it here Man, go ahead straight to the point.
I have been stopped-out in profit at 33.32 from my short at 33.88. Cheers!  I have just opened long here at 33.36 Cheers Again!   "Be Water my Friend"
You must be bearish on Gold
As long as the bull trend line holds on 4H / daily TF I'm not bearish yet (Gold)
Added a second long here at 33.26,let's go Bulls, bring this junk upward,LOL :D
Well,it reached 33.00 and it "might" test 32.92, Bulls gotta pray for these levels to hold otherwise 32.60 / 32.2ish might be seen. I still have my second short in play from 33.88,trailed my SL till 33.32, I will still get my profit in case this start climbing, Cheers and go ahead with your Thumbs down, LOL!
Oh yes, my TP from my short at 33.80 is placed at 32.25, Cheers and LOL
33.88* (error typo)
"Thailand has decided to reopen its borders to citizens from 46 COVID-19 low risk countries on November 1st, instead of just the 10 announced previously. The 46 countries, whose citizens will be allowed to enter Thailand without quarantine if they meet the requirements set by the Thai government"
Get ready for 33.00 / 32.92 Cheers :))

Usd/thb will go back to test 34 again if break we will see 36.5 as weekly chart /month is double bottom break out
if it goes the other way, what's the signal for further strengthing n to get out? thks
za/thb gbp/thb eur/thb all easy buy any sizeable dip printing money.
Chinese tourist is the largest proportion of total tourists. And it's an important factor for foreign reserves.
The 70% of chinese tourist don't spend anything while traveling in Thailand. Most of them travel with tourist groups and eating on 7/11.If Thailand rely on chinese tourist (which they hope for) they are digging their own pit.
Will we see 33.00?
Yes, we will see it, it's only a matter of time. And "IF" it breaks 33.00, we will welcome 32.2
"Thailand will no longer require quarantines for visitors from 10 low-risk countries starting November 1st, as the country is gradually reopening to overseas visitors, a delay from the initial complete reopening deadline of October 15th, announced Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha in a televised address tonight (Monday)." This is only routers, we should be waiting for this to be stated on Thai Royal Gazzette.
firstly, its not me disliking your point though I can see why they would - if you check https://tradingeconomics.com/thailand/current-account you'll notice it took a couple of years for the usd/thb to reverse in 2013 from the deficit, the fact its already sinking to me says 2/3 years of baht downtrend, add in no tourists this year, and most likely next, I see a 5 year bloodbath, I wouldn't even rule out a 97/98/99 liquidity rout. With the BOT propping up the baht sub 30 because it hurt export badly, any sort of mid term short aiming for 30 again looks like madness. though madness does happen, this time it looks like a suckers bet. good luck too
Well, I wouldn't call it a "short or mid term aiming 30.00" ...and yes, why would anyone looking for 30 at this point is not rational or probabily a newbie...Price it's flowing with ups and downs, I'm trading based and 4H / Daily chart.. I'm not  interested on holding for 5 years...  About Dislikes? ahahaha I got the same amount of dislikes on November / December 2020 while i was buying and averaging in from 30.00 till 29.75,while most people / dislike were looking for 25.00...it seems those dislikes like to "buy high and sell low" LOL as it happened before, My 2 short(S) from 33.88 and 33.76 are well in green aiming  33.00 and "possibly" 32.2ish, that's my plan unless things change. Cheers and thanks for the analysis / opinion.
I always reading "Trading Economics / Thailand / News" I have also posted articles in here as well, Thanks!
