am getting addicted to this forum. cant help to look even durng weekend. i read some open positions left by new friends during the weekend. just some suggestions for our new traders: 1. never leave any open position during weekend, you can save on swaps, and you are not worried whether it will gap up or down, or in your favor or not. there were mondays before where the gaps were really big and can wipe out accounts and even worse, you end up owing a big amount to your broker (if the broker doesnt have any negative balance protection). this can happen with over leveraged accounts and with free margins almost zero or even negative during friday close. ......

The biggest problem is how much margin people use. For example there was someone earlier that said they started an account with 250 dollars. Even with a 1k lot, that person still doesnt have enough margin imo. A 1k lot would be 16 percent of that persons margin. That is to much margin.

nothing beats educating yourself my new friend/traders....it might take some time, learning trading strategies, money management, risk management, etc... but if you want to be make this a profession, investing in your education is a must. lawyers, doctors, engineers, IT people, invest time and effort in their respective fields. Trading should be no different...

@gregwe they do not refer to the same unit and definition of a lot (typically in india and pakistan), what is a standard lot for them is consider a "mini lot" (or even ultra mini lot) for us, the experienced ones ^^ it depends to the defintion given by each broker. i feel compassion for those innocent souls trying to trade with such an equity though :'(

@Gary will probably give me a lesson on this but haha... isn't there a possible gartley on 4H chart I mean the D point may stretch a bit far but on the other hand it's entering in the important support zone and targets could be 113,1 - 114. But on the other hand some other formations are appearing and some strong trendlines and waves indicating this going to 113,6-8 only and then a massive sell on it? You mind take a look at it?

Hi, Edin. By luck I took a look in this forum and this was up on front. Theoretically, if You consider all elements of PRZ, then this still could be Gartley, but in my opinion it had to stall at 112.30 and it did for some time, but lack of continuation to upside meant trouble. At 112.30 I saw two major patterns on 1H (Butterfly) and 4H (Gartley), but they failed enough in my books. When they do fail it is usually for bigger opposite move, so I expect more downmove. HOWEVER - there is a scenario that could lead to upside - at 111.97 we hit 88.6% retracement of upmove from 111.60 to 114.93 (114.93 was 88.6% from 115.38 to 111.60), so it sets up 117.7 for a possible Deep Crab, IF we don't take out 111.60.

For that scenario to fork, 111.60 must hold and need to break 114.93 to go for that 117.7 target. But here another scenario comes in my play-book. If 111.60 holds and it goes to upside, but fails to take 114.93, we can see a reverse Deep Crab to downside at 109.52. This 2nd scenario is less probable, because right now we have only 3 points (and we are very close to invalidate the 3rd point), but on 1st scenario we already have 4 (although again - very close to invalidate). Sorry, if this sounds complicated, but no easier way to explain.

So these are my two scenarios I look for in larger time-frame. But to be fair to readers I have a sell at 112.38 (SL now at 112.31) on this pair over the weekend for leg down on Bullish Crab on 15-min completing at 111.79, where I will shift to buy (tight SL at 111.76).
