So we are back at the trade war. China just announced 34bln worth of tariffs on goods from US. This is not a bad place to try long as trendline is in focus. We may see some sideways action untill GDP on thursday. On the break below 6928 expect 6900 and 6882.

I think the US GDP is very strong and will raise the probability of 2 more rate hikes this year. The fundamentals are strong that the USD will continue to strengthen.

@immo yea its a bold one haha . Swap a ridiculous on that pair , i do short term trade with them, same when i trade DXY. I tend to buy the dips in euro & 99% of time pays off . @Adriano yea there’s a possibility of that and even more down , with a spike . I already have on long position activated & a sell on too pretty much hegding , unlikely now to continue the .7060 range @ Trein usd could strengthen more , but my fear is trump , says one thing & the market is affected. But for now it’s likely to get stronger.

Maybe if the trendline from 6850 holds.  With tight SL and closing before  New Zealands GDP to be safe. https://invst.ly/7qqjg. Good luck.

Amazing. Still no clear direction for Nzd. Next major event in a weeks time -  New Zealand GDP. Forecast is optimistic so watch the chart drown in red if it misses. If DXY is any indicator we should be closing weekly to the upside above 7050..I am still short @ 7000 longterm and will add  at 7120, 7275 , 7390 if I have a chance. https://invst.ly/7qceo

I think it will settle down and move in the direction it was heading. US economy will continue to grow despite Chinese, Canadian and EU tariffs. The dovish talk from the Fed is them trying to balance.  The fed will likely do 2 more hikes this year to keep inflation down.

Anh Ho Little of each I suppose. NZD is on indefinate hold. USA is in boom mode FOMC no real choice. That was my thinking and I'm sticking to it! Reality though is NZD never really does what it should so there's that.
