Good data or not, Nzd is still in trouble. People have no reson to drop Usd as expansion continues.

immo_PL Agreed the Aussie looks weak and the two can do a lot of things side by side.  Mind you FE prices are really pretty good.  Personally, I think the Aussie is the cheapest major out there.

I would wait with that for 200 SMA test on 4h and if it falls more, test of 6525. That's where the trend line runs. you can buy there with tight stop lost and minimize the risk.

immo_PL i agree with you completely , if it breaks .6520 that is a big no no for all buyers cx papa bear will come in running :D but imho one should buy like crazy at 6530 only if 6520 rejects twice or even once but dont just buy at  6520 wait and see cx market might gives you false sell signals .. close your daily buys at 6600 t2 6700

Weekly MACD is signaling downtrend termination but can get overwritten by monthly which is still deeply in red. Once Nzd closes above 6720 we are in neutral territory. Weekly RSI presents reversed H&S pattern, remember those are just indicators, nothing more https://invst.ly/8x6so

I’m starting to think with growth and inflation in NZ and modest US outcomes that the trend May have turned.  I  see the forecast for Q3 US GDP is 3.3% annualised.   0.8 QOQ and quite a cooling trend from Q2.  Only half the QOQ growth of China....

It does look a little better for Nzd but I want to know what rbnz thinks. Shame it did not close above 6600, nothing is certain at this point but it's getting interesting for sure.
