Weekly MACD is signaling downtrend termination but can get overwritten by monthly which is still deeply in red. Once Nzd closes above 6720 we are in neutral territory. Weekly RSI presents reversed H&S pattern, remember those are just indicators, nothing more https://invst.ly/8x6so

I’m starting to think with growth and inflation in NZ and modest US outcomes that the trend May have turned.  I  see the forecast for Q3 US GDP is 3.3% annualised.   0.8 QOQ and quite a cooling trend from Q2.  Only half the QOQ growth of China....

It does look a little better for Nzd but I want to know what rbnz thinks. Shame it did not close above 6600, nothing is certain at this point but it's getting interesting for sure.

Do what you want and don't listen to  anyone.  When rbnz decides to drop the rate cut idea those longs will be worth a lot.

They have a different platform and all the brokers in the world have a little bit of that but five pips is quite a lot ... don’t worry it will be back to normal

immo_PL of recent times both the AUD and NZD have been quite stable in risk off.  I don't think it's a change in them being high beta I just think that so much bad news is already priced into these two.....

If the AUD got going a bit and the Kiwi got above say .6560 it might be worth a little go.  I do think with the  US 10 yr at 3.21 this looks like it might get interesting again on equity markets so it might be a bit of a wild ride in the next 24 hours.

I still suggest buying nzd vs jpy, same goes for usd/jpy, forecast for usd is just too optimistic to risk it. December rate hike on it's way and 3 more in 2019.
