at the rate beans are dropping, as a farmer, the only positive is we wont be paying any income tax

well aware farmed for many years and traded soybeans all my adult life. I think carry out is low enough and brazil is in question enough we rally.
meaning you actually think the us dollar will retain its value from here or that you’re about to die? Because it’s like someone in 1998 saying gasoline would never be more than a dollar a gallon again. I remember in 1998 there were people saying oil would be 3-5 dollars a barrel in 10 years. Turns out inflation is actually real and the value of a dollar goes down and even after small bubbles break, the price only goes down a bit, not to what it was before the bubble.
Since last March soybeans down 15%. Dollar index down 5%. Situation last year in Brazil was great. This year biggest producing area having worse conditions in 30 years. China sees all of this and looks at US as a bargin. Usda soybean careyout is too high.
