According to trading economics, "Cocoa is expected to trade at 10036.52 USD/MT by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, we estimate it to trade at 10893.97 in 12 months time. " I would like to invest in cocoa, not day trade. I want to enter on a long position and then keep it, but reading this ... I don't know.

Nobody knows where it will be in 12 months time ... this depends now on the harvesting (season is starting) and on consumer demand when prices are higher ... to many unknown variables at play .... but if cocoa stays at this level .... even milk chocolate (33 percent cocoa) would have to double in price .... I think prices over 10K are hardly sustainable .... will it fall back to "abusiver 2.5K ? most likely not ... cocoa has been undervalued for too long ... currently it is overvalued, a 20 percent production decline does not justify a x4 in price.
