Gold prices mostly crises in Middle east and interest rate tops in US..PL can not price uncertainity naturally..so not fully correlated at all..PL has only benefited from top interest rates and closing dovish cycle of interest rates among metals but not all factors

Look at premiums on Phyz gold vs Phyz plat. Tells you which one is rare....as percentage, the Plat is disappearing on the Phyz. It is in phyz deficit as is silver. It is actually easier to get silver production up than Plat. Gold? No mining needed.....all of it still exists.....Fact is, if they released actual gold stored vs what they claim....they would not need to mine for decades as, effectively the naked facts would make it appear as though one thousand years of mining ... unreported, has just taken place. Not the case w silver or plat. The ratio says...Plat should be an easy 1.1 mult to Pall by end of summer. We will see.

I would actually like to see Pl get to the 1025 range and confirm it...stay above. It is here that I will effectively go 50 percent phyz on Pl vs a futures based wager.

Any of you that are able to set up a ratio of Pl div by Gd futures will see that the closing week of Apr 1 was the lowest weekly close against gold since? Ever. Even greater weekly close low against gold since the March 2020 Covid Death Spiral. Not lowest daily close, but weekly. Pay attention to this. This signals a structural abnormality that is not natural. Be Contrarian. It is difficult at times.

That argument is not so different from saying cocoa is very expensive according to coffee..These metals are in the same group and platinum has benefited from gold/silver surge somehow till 1000-1030 as they are mostl correlated but for above 1030 level jump, PL needs absolutely specific positive newsflow..such as tangible supply deficit, jump in conventional auto sales or increase in fuel cell/hydrogen technology usage..otherwise in higher and longer interest rates atmosphere, there is not a enough trigger beyond 1000$ PL price..The rest is story writing, dreaming or physical buying and forever holding;))..

In comparison strategy, everyone should buy Palladium instead of Platinum as it is cheaper as of historical averages but investors run away from Palladium..this is a big conflict in commos..comparing may be very misleading when investor does not make suppy/demand analysis besides
