I get the recent cold snap and missing low on the EIA last week, but it seems like exports (lng and mexico) have been the bullish justification for a few weeks now, how long until thats priced in? Lng has been running near capacity and mexico demand stable

Jay Man jay, there is a very inciteful article by Platts addressing the effect of higher prices on production recently. The conclusion was that as reserves decline and prices increase, producers will choose to sell less product at higher prices to extend life of fields. That’s my choice as well. We are working on language for future leases that lessees and lessors can agree to in addressing that issue. I want to extend the life of my reserves because once my reserves are gone, producer plugs and abandons, moves to new field, and leaves me with a wellbore full of concrete. Summary: as prices increase, production will flatten.

Tom McCarty  I understand the logistics but then why are we exporting if reserves declining? Do you think the government allows to export when people here in the US wont have heat to survive??

Tom McCarty Thanks for taking the time to help people here Tom! For what it's worth the only two people I track here are Sam and Saca. Technically based. You have provided a different dimension. For what it's worth I'm going to save and read your posts. I only ask questions when I have them. Passed my series 7 in 1977. Retired sincee 2006. Most of my assets are well managed. I trade Natty for fun (sort of ). have a small investment in Kimmeridge if you recognize the name. Thanks for your input
