                              • Fundamentally, there's nothing that's bearish for gold, except recent rise in 2Y yields and perception of rate hikes. Although, with new covid, I doubt the fed will accellerate taper. Even 3 rate hikes thats nothing to curb inflation. Bears are welcome to share why they are bearish

                                • Of course gold has moved in 10 years, you're just looking at the peak. In February 2011 the gold price was $1325/oz. It rallied $600 (approx 46%) in 6 months before topping out. If you buy any investment at the top of the market, you will do far worse than if you had bought gold at the top. If you had bought in 2015 at less than $1070/oz you would have made 80% returns or more if you had sold last year.
