According to the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, the Bakken produced 201 million barrels of oil in the first six months of 2018. However, it also produced a stunning 268 million barrels of wastewater. Thus, the companies producing shale oil in the Bakken had to dispose of 268 million barrels of by-product wastewater in just the first half of the year. The estimate is that it costs approximately $4 a barrel to gather, transport and dispose of this wastewater. Which means, the shale companies will have to pay an estimated $2.2 billion just to get rid of their wastewater this year.

Rahul, lets say we have a 5th wave up on Monday to 66 (October), then that could be part of a larger impulsive move, a correction, then up to new highs as per this chart > https://www.tradingview.com/x/9HItMZMj/  The alternative is that the 5th wave completes A of an ABC (correction) then down to new lows > https://www.tradingview.com/x/Wr7rbx8k/

Elliot wave idea for small TF > https://www.tradingview.com/chart/CLV2018/2huETgSH-Crude-Oil-Elliott-Wave-Idea/ I think we could see a move up on Monday to complete a 5th wave which could be part of a larger correction or a new impulsive move upwards.

https://invst.ly/8d7i-  <=== WTI Oil long-term review: price pressures below $ 65.45 will trigger continued selloff testing $ 59.5 area. swing back to $ 65 before dropping sharply to $ 50 / $ 49 / $ 46 area (completing the bottom point of the 3-year bear cycle). That could be momentum bullish rally to area $ 84 - $ 86. on condition ... price should break above 59 - 65 area. failure on both of these resistance areas will potentially push WTI Oil price to the lower area of 44-40

Anyone trading oil futures contracts with rollover at least 12+ months ahead? Been trying to find a broker that offer such trades. Most brokers only offer CFDs 1-4 months ahead - at least for WTI and Brent...To be specific - looking to trade the Brent Dec 20 (CBZ20) contract.

Right. Though, Stan bought an energy ETF. Soros is a Chevron man, among other things. Either way, I bet they are feeling a sting if they bought in July.
