    • Hello folks, what would happen to open positions in brent if the contract expires at the end of this month??
      1
      • nuclear deal with Iran is almost ready...when its announced Oil will crash... World will get cheap Iranian Oil... Plus alternate fuel is replacing Oil around the world
        2
        • Iranian oil rumors are made when prices rise . causes a decrease, but remains as a correction because it does not lead to results. If it happens, it will cause a big drop. technically, he saw the h4 h&s pattern 78. but the probability of seeing 80 still remains as a fibo level. news and gossip need to be followed at this stage.
          2
      • I think the price will retrace below support level and going up higher
        3
        • 100$ is closer than ever
          8

        • "Nothing Can Save Oil" : British hedge fund manager..... read about this....it's just dead cat bounce
          0
          • If so, then why the largest professional speculators are long and not in a hurry to close the own positions? Even if it is true, he does not assert that Brent cannot hit 80-85$ during the "terminal decline"
            3
          • Rohit Xatriya, yes i agree with you... just bounce dead cat... why largest prof speculator stay Long now, because wait the little trader to panic buying... and then time to sell .. and we all panic margin call
            1
          • Bamz + Rohit = CLUELESS
            0
        • Brent has to touch at least 80$ because it is just miserable 2$ and I have bet relatively large money on that. I do not know when it happens (in this month, in the next month or a bit late) but it has to happen. Just see the monthly charts to understand what I am talking about
          3
          • UK fuel shortage will cause panic buy
            2
            • From a logical perspective: UK fuel shortage is due to Brexit mismanagement from UK side, not because of lack of production
              0
            • Mr. Smart, There cannot be a panic buy at this level imo
              0
          • above 77 are the expensive price just for oil... its time to SELL...
            0
            • Reasons? Just because you think so? Well, even if Brent strove to begin a correction, Brent would draw a turning pattern but on the contrary we see a bullish pattern. I reveal you a secret before Brent begins a correction, a turning signal must appear.

                2
              • Let's him tell the same to those guys (prof.  large speculators) who hold nearly 400k longs and trade only by trends https://www.theice.com/publicdocs/cot_report/automated/BrentFutOpt_21092021.pdf
                1
            • GM, closing above 78$ tells that we are going for 100$. I am starting to belive this now. Best of luck to all.
              3
              • nope.. its just way to collect our pocket to buy.. and then big down.. so that many buyers will be broke
                0
            • Bullish Week closed and next week we will se the  monthly side. But i think we will see a big move above 100$. Actually i closed my wins and wait for the election and maybe a small correction to make new investing. it could fall to 73$.
              1
              • Both Brent and WTI have overcome recently the 13 year declining trend line that opened a way to new highs so 100$+ is a real possible value for crude that may happen quite soon
                0
              • The same line in WTI
                0
            • it will fall like ****
              0
              • LMAO you are so clueless
                0
            • countries around the globe are replacing the fossil fuel..and using alternative ... this price is without any support... will fall anytime
              1
              • Heh, you cannot image how many times I heard something like that. I heard that the level around 40$ was an unbeatable resistance (in the Murphy books  the same), that WTI could not cost below 20$ (and particularly negative), that SPX could not overcome 3000$ and so on. Do not be credulous and naive, even if it happens and crude oil is replace by something else, Brent may go up to 100-150$ several times for such a long  period of time
                1
            • fight against Global warming will cause the breakdown of Oil price
              2
              • I think Brent technically cannot go down because 1 head and shoulders points upside 2 two attempts of going down were failed (2 prev. monthly candles with the large tails) 3 Brent has just come back to the long-term uptrend which was broken only once when crude oil collapsed In fact it need to accept the fact that Brent can costs above 80$
                3
                • I am looking forward to see 80$ and up
                  3
                  • Game over?
                    0
                  • Alex Growth Nope, otherwise Brent could not close the week so perfectly for bull. Brent aims to 80$+
                    1
                • It reached top target around 78.3/ BRENT is due for down bullish trend for a while. could it be correct statement?
                  1
                  • Brent does not want to go down, 2 previous months showed it when Brent was bought out instantly after declining. We get used to the fact that Brent costs somewhere between 40-60$ but recent events demonstrated that Brent can be quoted at 15$ so why Brent cannot cost 80-100$ as it was less 10 years ago I expect to see 80$+ in this or in the next month
