With a P/E ratio of 840, I think we can all agree that Peloton (NASDAQ:PTON) is a richly-valued creature. The market seems to have embraced the thought that:

  1. The lockdown will last forever;
  2. In spite of being famously pudgy and lazy for decades, Americans will all suddenly want to exercise vigorously at home;
  3. They will do so by way of a very expensive stationary bike with a big monthly recurring fee.

Of course!

I’d like to suggest these charts, and the accompanying indicators, indicate otherwise:

The price gap:

Peloton Candlestick Chart.
Peloton Candlestick Chart.

The bearish PSAR and near top of Bollinger range:

The Bollinger Range.
The Bollinger Range.

The moving average crossover:

Peloton Moving Average Chart.
Peloton Moving Average Chart.

Williams (NYSE:WMB) %R sell signal:

Peloton Chart.
Peloton Chart.

The overarching conclusion?

He forgot to put disclaimer: I/we are short PTON and/or have LEAP puts on PTON.  I saw we short squeeze them so high they are forced to cover

I completely disagree. The daily RSI is just 58 and rising. Fat lazy Americans can remain so but the ones with motivation to exercise now have the convenience and versitility Peloton offers at home. Why wait to use a Prloton at the gym when you can have one at home? There’s always a sign up sheet on the ones at the gym and they are drenched in filth. I like the lovely instructors i can choose and the selection choices. This has nothing to do w Covid that what Bears just cant understand here. Go short GPRO which is new 52 wk high btw. Bears just ******and have been getting beaten down consistently. So suffer shorts
