Hello guys,

In this special edition we look at the devaluation of the Turkish Lira vs. Dollar (USD/TRY) and Euro (EUR/TRY), which fundamentals are responsible for the demise of the Turkish Lira and how it looks in the weekly time frame.

Further, we look at the implications for the Turkish economy, what president Erdogan is doing wrong in his actions. The account deficit of Turkey and also the tourism play a big role in that, which were hugely impacted through political actions. Even the 'evil interest lobby' can't change that, which has been responsible for investments in Turkey in the first place, after the AKP took over and created political stability.

Completely politically motivated thoughts. No rationale. I hope you are able to see now, after 4 months of your meaningless, purely biased opinions due to your government opposition ideaology were mostly, if not entirely wrong. . . What damages Turkey's economy is not Erdogan but unfortunately people like you who are moving in a completely different direction either in their lives or political agenda. There is a very nice saying, it goes like "with friends like that, who needs enemies". İgnoring how the US treats Julien Assange while critizing Turkey for "jailing" journalists for its national security is purely a hypocrisy.
Unfortunately, I was kinda sad watching your speech.. It was funny that your comments are like political recommendations, not the economical ones.. I would like to say that the Erdogan policies are wrong -because it is the easiest-, but political stability came with US, now gone with US. . When you only talk about Central Bank Interest rates or tourism oppportunities or what to do next for 2 seconds in your 10 minute speech, but spent 9:58 about how Erdogan is bad and things will go worse in turkey, you are not forecasting, but you are showing the intention of the US (i.e.) to dictate the political destabilization in Turkey. . . Turks know political stability is very important, but it is destabilizing not only because of Erdogan but mostly people like you, people can understand it more clearly when you talk about it.. I guess 1 usd will be 10 liras by the way, but not because of political destability in Turkey, but of the hypocrisy of people like you.. . and lastly: "cmon, give the pasteur"really?
tomorrow dollar will down quickly, 5.25
Has it?
Yeah, right!! LMAO..
president erdogan is not doing wrong for his country.. he just doesn't want to be like a puppet that receives commands from trump. so the consequence is imposing on him... USA is using his power against the justice Erdogan will never bow down before anyone and no one can dictate the turkish people so.
I don't think president Erdogan is acting in the best interest of the Turkish people any more.. . When the AKP came to power in Turkey, they brought with them political stability, they accepted free market economics & had a policy of zero problems with their neighbours. Erdogan was even seen walking together with Assad down the road.. . => This has changed quickly after the Gezi protests started, long before they started jailing journalists.. . Right now, no logical person can argue that the rule of law still exists in Turkey: I have family members, who fear writing their opinion on social media, because police now already starts arresting people critical even on social media.. . => When freedom is abolished, no matter what good someone has done, it will reverse. Turkey is at that point now: Erdogan is ready to do anything in his power, to remain in power. The Turkish people have to withstand him, if they don't want to lose their freedom completely.
He he does, please let him cancel the $11billion Boeing order he signed when his last visit to WH.
*If he does ...
