DermTech (NASDAQ:DMTK) is thinly traded but it exploded on Tuesday, up 2.99, or 23%, to 15.99, just one cent of the 16.00 high, on 142,636 shares traded. Even though it traded 142,636, that is a lot of volume for this stock. There’s some resistance up where it might be a target up another 4 points near 20.

Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INO) exploded and was a great day trade on Tuesday, jumping 3.06, or 69.7%, to 7.45, only 3 cents of the session high at 7.48, on 107.2 million shares traded. From the get-go, it ran up, coiled all morning, by mid-afternoon it started to ramp up, we followed it all the way up from 5 to the close, and within an hour of that it was all the way up to 9.00, came down, retested, making a nominal new high at 9.15. Targets for Wednesday are 9 3/4 and 10 1/2.

Ocular Therapeutix (NASDAQ:OCUL) also exploding, gaining 77 cents, or 16.42%, to 5.46, after closing at the session high at 5.82, or 2.2 million shares traded, and then in after-hour gaining another 33 cents, or 6.04%, to 5.79. Right now, it’s up near key resistance. If it gets through here, it might ramp to the near-term targets at 6 3/4 and 7 1/2. It does have a nice up-channel.

SpringWorks Therapeutics (NASDAQ:SWTX) exploded for 7.55, or 22.43%, to 41.21, to 312,425 shares traded. It’s thinly traded but did breakout out to session highs at 41.96. Perhaps it will follow through to the mid-40’s going forward.

Boingo Wireless (NASDAQ:WIFI) popped sharply for 2.14, or 18%, to session highs at 14.99, before pulling back and closing up 14.04, on 5.2 million shares traded, and another 67 cents in after-hours, taking it up another 67 cents, or 4.77%, to 14.71. That’s the biggest volume I’ve seen on this stock in a year and a half, which may mean it is going to extend. If it can get through the declining topsline, we’re looking at a stock that might be a 20-dollar stock.

Beyond Air (NASDAQ:XAIR) has been ramping big time, and has gone from 5 1/2 to 10.88 in the last week and a half. On Tuesday, it popped 1.01, or 10.77%, to 10.39, after reaching a session high of 10.86, just 2 cents of muli-week highs at 10.88, on 823,780 shares traded. It has had big volume in the last two days, with a breakout above 10.39, which back in 2017 tagged 10. Tuesday it closed above that, so it may very well extend, but it is overbought short-term. Keep an eye on it.

Stocks on the long side included Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. (AHPI), Alpha Pro Tech, Ltd. (APT), DermTech, Inc. (DMTK), Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (INO), Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. (OCUL), Omeros Corporation (OMER), OpGen, Inc. (OPGN), Rite Aid Corporation (RAD), SpringWorks Therapeutics, Inc. (SWTX), VelocityShares Daily 2x VIX Short-Term ETN (TVIX), ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (UVXY), Boingo Wireless, Inc. (WIFI), and Beyond Air, Inc. (XAIR).
