Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE:R) has been focusing on its innovation plans with new partnerships. To this end, the company announced to pair up with Plug and Play, an accelerator and venture fund, specializing in the development of early-to-growth stage technology startups.

Ryder will sponsor the company and help in the development some of the greatest technology startups. This will in turn accelerate projects across a wide range of industries. The sponsorship will also provide executive mentoring and technical expertise to a select group of startups. Additionally, it will lend an opportunity to drive startup solutions within its own operations.

Joining the Plug and Play Supply Chain & Logistics program, Ryder will offer its supply chain engineering expertise to help Plug and Play foster the growth of startups on supply chain and logistics platform.
